Just how doable is it to go from lvl 47 to lvl 60 on one ng+ playthrough? I'm trying to get the lvl 60 achievement, and I don't want to have to play three playthroughs to do so.

Not likely. I won't swear it's impossible, but the xp required for 47 is like 191,100 for 60 its 862,100. So you need 671,000 from the bottom of 47 to 60.

If you're playing on the pc and don't want to do a third playthrough I'd suggest using the command console

Yeah I heard you need to be at least lvl 48. However, having the power gamer achievement nets you a percentage bonus, so if you have that achievement it could be done. However, I would just do the things you want to do on this playthrough and enjoy it, then start a third playthrough and you get boatloads of experience towards the beginning of the game. It will be much more fun than grinding for the XP in one new game+

I'm not sure it's possible, to be honest. But then again, if you play just the beginning hours of a third playthrough (after completing everything in your current NG+ run), you will probably reach Level 60.

Eh, it's not like I can skip much stuff this playthrough anyway, because i have to ensure I get the stupid liara achievement.

Well, I read some where that someone made it from level 46. But I'd imagine you'd have to do EVERYthing. And you'd have to get out of the Mako to kill everything for the most XP. So, its not likely but possible.

Then I'd suggest a google search for a Mass Effect checklist so that you can be as completionist as possible.

On the Xbox 1st playthru i did all missions and side quests got to lvl 50 second play the same way lvl 59 on 3rd play got to lvl 60 before i left the citadel. mind you that was before BDTS came out.

Also, does difficultly have anything to do with xp? I'm currently on hardcore to provide a balance of difficultly and speed (not too hard, and not too long, I'm not doing this for the "challenge" or anything).

BDTS is The DLC Bringing Down The Sky and the difficulty does not factor in to the XP as far as i know.

Yeah, I just figured out what BDTS is.



Does anyone know how much XP increases on each play through (just out of curiosity)? I ask because 170,000 xp gets you to 47, and 800,000 gets you to 60, which if xp didn't increase, then that'd take roughly 5 play throughs.



I've also just gotten to the 2nd quest section (after Liara, in my case it's gonna be Noveria), and I have nearly 350,000 xp. What fun.

Reach level 50 increase xp by 10%, Reach Level 60 increase by 5% and Get the completionist Achievement (complete the majority of the game) xp increase by 5%.
