Sorry if this has been covered already, but the search function doesnt seem to work when I try.

I have consistent crashes at the point in the game just following the Joining in Ostagar, when you wake up and you agree to go talk about the battle plans or something. Tried two races and both cannot get past this part. The came automatically drops out and I get two APPCRASH warnings.

Rest of the game is running quite nicely, but I am at an impasse at this part. Any suggestions? Is this being worked on?

For those interested, I got this to work by installing the latest critical updates for Vista and the latest driver for my video card (8800 GT) which was visible as an optional update on Windows Update as well.
