I thoroughly enjoyed this game, but it was not without it's hang ups which caused some dissappointment and frustration.
I'll talk about the things I liked, and then what I didn't like.

* I enjoyed the party members, their stories, struggles and also the banter between them. It was well written and on occasion made me laugh aloud.
* The quests and areas to explore were enough, I didn't feel like there were too few and I enjoyed the quests that required the use of making armour from items that you found.
*The story was okay, there was a good amount of new enemies even if they were just revamped or redesigned pre-existing ones (such as the armoured Ogre). But the Baroness and the mother with her predator like face and udders was a very cool creepy looking enemy. I enjoyed giving her a work over with sword and shield.
* I loved the keep upgrades and that you could settle disputes, it reminded me of Baldur's gate two with the warrior keep and the quests you get to ensure Nadia retains it. I loved that aspect.
* I liked how the multiple decisions affected the end epilogue giving it a bit of replay value for me to see what else I Can find.
* I found the new skills enjoyable and fantastic to try out and they reallllllly did come in handy. So coodles to that.

*No romance, sorry but I have to say it. When I play an RPG I like to feel like an ultimate hero. Which is all well and good I saved the day (again) but I also like to be the one that 'gets the girl'. A bit like Han Solo from Star wars. Don't really care for the 'sex' scenes and so forth, but I just personally enjoy romance. For myself personally, Baldur's Gate 2 had it right, you could romance and your relationship with the party member affected the game you played. Such as new quests, exploration and also trials to overcome together. I found that very engaging and I hope that is something Bioware would consider in later expansions.
* The game is riddled with bugs, the worse ones for me was having scenes loop over and over again. I beat the game, killed the mother watched the epilogue and I had the mothers death scene repeat 5 times in a row after that until I finally got the achievement. There were also other instances that this happened as well as randomly crashing.
* Path finding is annoying and frustrating. This may not affect those whom play on console. I opted to buy this game on PC rather than XBox as I like to play it like I did BG and Icewind Dale etc. However, the click to move and strat pausing is so annoying. There were times where I had to click on a party member and manually move them out of whatever mess they had got into. What made it even more frustrating is that clicking on them did not move the camera to them on some occasions, meaning I spent 10 mins or so moving them blindly out off god knows where.
*Epilogue, it was kinda annoying. I liked to hear how things went, but there was no real closing scene. It was boom **** is dead, heres some text. I wanted a scene of going back to Vigil or the city etc. I wanted a proper conclusion to what I had done.
*Vigils Keep, I loved what you could do there, with the quests etc. But I felt the upgrades and so forth were cut too short. I would of liked something where I actually worked to do it. Rather than find smoething, make a decision and move on. Or pay large amounts of gold. So, basically I want something like that, but a bit more fun and longer.
All in all I would give the game 4/5 mainly because I did enjoy it, but it lacked some missing elements for me to go wowser as well as the bugs that affected me did really annoy me to the point of not wanting to continue on some nights.
