Most people suspect that this is an ad for DA2, not another expansion. So I doubt they'll release another one between now and 2/01/11:

I would all but guarantee it. DAO Part 2 is a long way off. I would beat on another expansion in the summer and than the last expansion at Christmas time. Of course I'm also guessing we will see about 6 DLC's in between. That should keep all of us busy and Happy until, DAO Part 2 roles out on Feb 1, 2011!  Image IPB

I only hope I'm right!Image IPB

@Rive Caedo: Really ? That would make me a sad panda :(

Don't BioWare need an ongoing revenue stream just like any other company ? I'm hoping there's another expansion at least by early Autumn with a few more DLCs scattered throughout the year. But maybe I should stop smoking the pretty green herbs ?

Must say, I agree with Gunny. If that awesome little card mentioned in the article is anything to go by, then i'd bank on one more expansion before DAO2. I think two would be a bit of a tall order personally. Even with all EA's power and money. Whatever the case, I just can't wait. Loved Origins. Loved Awakening. The Dragon Age saga is just unparalelled imo. Bring it on.

thought awakening was great and pretty sure that there will be another expansion and a lot more DLC before DAO 2

I would laugh if by that date no expansion or game comes out and whatever was going to be released is delayed. Still they have a big company they should be able to have whatever they are creating finished before then. However will they actually get testers this time? I am just waiting till the expansion becomes cheap, then that's when I will get it!

I really hope there's another expansion. And, before that, Awakening DLC. I want to hold court some more, dammit!

I bet there's gonna be some new DLC but I doubt that Bioware does anything close to a full expansion pack before 2011.

How about they fix the original game first?

I'd rather cut my genitals off and set fire to them outside of BioWare's office than have them release another broken expansion.

The thing I don't understand is why people bought the expansion in the first place. Especially the Xbox one. Considering how bugged DA:O STILL is I will not go near the expansion until its selling for $5 second hand. No way I would give EA/BW anymore money for making broken games.

The epilogue made me think that there will be another expansion... something that was left unfinished in Origins.

Oh, lord. I do hope we get to play with our Warden again. :[

Maybe because not everyone experiences the same bugs you do? Just because it happens to you, and means something to you doesn't mean it happens to everyone else, and means something to them.

From a modders perspective, if this is a sequel, I hope it's using a similiar engine, or at least one that we can update our existing content to. Would suck to have to start back at square one a little over a year after learning the first one.

I hope this too. I hope that we get at least another expansion to play with our Warden before moving on to other things like Dragon Age 2, since, as you say, there is still a lot to do before the Origins' story is completely tied up.

I saw this mentioned on grey wardens posts here:
http://greywardens.c...e-dragon-age-2/
I wasn't sure what to make of it, since it was posted on the 1st of April, as I am highly sceptical of anything posted on that date, but yeah.  It is there apparently with a quote from bioware concerning the flyers.

I think there will be, because if you look at the files on the 360 it says E1 e=expansion

and because of the one it makes me think ,why would they need the number one if there was only going to be one....

You know why your Game is so buggy? its because you dont have the pc or Ps3 verson. The Xbox verson is the worst piece of crap cause the xbox software and the hardware is so outdated. If you can get a pc and play DAO and DAA its secound to none but Ps3 verson is right up its alley.

If they don't upgrade the engine (and really, it doesn't need it, except for some bug fixes) then don't see why DA2 couldn't be out in 11. After all, it was really finished (excluding ports) sometime early in 2009.

i also believe the date given by bioware is the date of another expansion, not the sequel, they may need at least 2 to 3 years to fully develop another game if they want to live up to the fame the first one made...
