You guys are assuming they started Dragon Age 2 after Dragon Age was finished and not before. Also creating a game are the most time consuming portions of making a game, and those things are done.
fixed it for you.

Do you guys know if there is going to be another one? I loved awakening and i would love to see something similar to awakening.
I think everyone is kind of missing the point here...EA would love to make another expansion...the question is are they going to sell it ??
they only can produce so many games and have got to sell what people r going to buy....
pretty soon this game and it's expansions are going to run straight into a brick wall....that wall is Blizzard's launch of Diablo 3
EA is not dumb they know that game is a category killer...game over, lights out...either produce something quick or wait a few years

I think its an expansion, how could the make an entire new game in such
short time.
They took lessons from Cryptic Studio's?

I would all but guarantee it. DAO Part 2 is a long way off. I would beat on another expansion in the summer and than the last expansion at Christmas time. Of course I'm also guessing we will see about 6 DLC's in between. That should keep all of us busy and Happy until, DAO Part 2 roles out on Feb 1, 2011!
I only hope I'm right!
I 'm thinking that also, but probably less dlc and maybe one more expansion, prior to DA:2

Okay first of all. i have finished DA about 5-10 times now (i dont count so don't know for sure)
and i have also played it on 3 diffrent PCs AND YOU REALLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE first it was on my laptop it is acually pretty new but there was some very irritating bugs sometimes, then on my friends laptop, that one aint something to worth telling about and the game was... **** (bad PC).
then i played it on my NEW stationary (8 gb ram) and that was the most AWESOME gaming experience i ever had.
there is also ALOT more problem when you set the graphic down EVEN IF YOU USE A GOOD PC.
DA is also game that the most computer cant take only the NEWEST ones. (okay if you have some old ownage pc that cost you 40 000 then maybe that one can too)
so here is the answers (when all this is done then you can get angry)
1 new pc (theres is written on the boks there is only needed around 1,5 (vista/win 7) but something higher will do a great deal (and no cheap new pcs)
2 up with the graphic
3 dont have anything running in the background it will slow down the game (programs like MSN and skype is ALWAYS the sinners to gaming problems due their pop ups)
Well lets blow your theory out of the water here, my PC is a 4 year old core duo..Amd..etc etc. Been playing Dragon Age since November 3rd last year, there's a couple video glitches I've run into, and some problems with compatibility "possibly" with my Amd with loading slowdowns, BUT overall, I have been playing that length of time, have created 20 characters, and not really had any huge insurmountable problems.
Oh and my vid card is Nvidia Ge Force 7600 GT. I don't lower things..I play widescreen..etc. No problems. I think it just depends on the machine, and what its got on it..possibly running the background. It also depends somewhat on if people remember to update their vid drivers. I have had blue screens of "death" before, due to forgetting to update my vid drivers.
My fault not the gaming company's fault.
My OS is WinXP home edition. Service pack 3

PS:If they release an another expansion and morrigan isnt in it im not going to buy it.
PSS: Rogues are TOO overpowered.. i mean.. when they have >70%crit and hits for more than my main char warrior with 70 strenght 2hand there is something wrong

A GOOD patch in the next 4 weeks would convince me to try another expansion come 2011 in the hopes that EA/BioWare got the message and tested the product thoroughly. Hell - even some public acknowledgement that they screwed up and they are working on it would go some distance.
But otherwise . . . it's Starcraft2 and Diablo3 for me.
Guess it's time to preorder StarCraft 2, huh?

The thing I don't understand is why people bought the expansion in the first place. Especially the Xbox one. Considering how bugged DA:O STILL is I will not go near the expansion until its selling for $5 second hand. No way I would give EA/BW anymore money for making broken games.
I have played this for both xbox, and ps3 as well as my comp version (of which I never registered before moving
