Hey, after completing N7: Lost Operative, did yoiu guys decide to share the data from Tyrone Rawlings with the Alliance, give it to Cerberus, or keep it for yourself?

For such a small mission, I must admit I agonised over my decision! The spiralling consequences in ME3 could be immense! (or, very, very, minor - whatever. lol)

(edited for spelling errors.)

I would keep it, EDI should have it completely decrypted by the time ME3 starts up, and having a lot of really damaging data against Cerberus will no doubt be very handy in the future.

I just kept it for myself because I figured, 'Hey I'm working with Cerberus right now in a Cerberus vessel. Last thing I need right now is for the alliance to be harrassing me or Cerberus right now.'

My thoughts were to save the information against Cerberus when I pretty much betray them at some point which I did at the end of the game by destroying the Collector base.

I gave the data to Cerberus. As a show of good will I return the data to them, we'll never get anywhere screwing each other over.

I always keep it, i dont want to give it to the alliance in case it damages my cerberus connection which could mean less resources for ME3 and i dont want to give it to Cerberus because i dont know how dangerous this information is. So i keep it for myself.

Paragons give it to the Alliance ... my Renegades often keep it for themselves ... One renegon gave it to Cerberus to keep from weakening a potential ally.

I kept it for myself so that if I ever needed to part ways with Cerberus I'd have something to bargain with.

I gave it to the Alliance. Cerberus won't be able to get out of that mess in ME3. If you arrested the Cerberus doctor that Toombs wanted to kill then the news will say that Cerberus is under investigation and that they were involved with Kahoku's death. Cerberus is supposed to be very secret. If the public finds out about the things they do, a lot of people will want them to pay for the things they've done. Appearing on the news is the first step, soon everybody will know about their dirty dealings.

Keep it for yourself, though transmitting it to EDI means INVARIABLY that it also gets to Cereberus anyways. If you love ME1, send it to the council. Not sure if it will affect much in ME2, but it might be a little substaintial.

I kept it since it may be a good bargaining chip or blackmail item. Although, I suspect it'll just be ignored or result in an email in ME3.

I gave the information to the Alliance and irradiated the collector base... so I guess that makes me 50/50 (neutral) in terms of relations with the Alliance/Cerberus but 100% for Humanity and its survival/progress.

Yeah. I find myself playing it according to the LI I'm going after. Kaiden - I give to the alliance. Jack/Garrus, I keep for myself.

Had never considered giving it to Cerberus. I just can't trust those guys. lol

My femShepard gave it to Cerberus, along with the Collector Base (destroying the base is a waste). Far as she's concerned, TIM invested heavily in her, and she feels that passing it to the Alliance or keeping it amounts to betrayal in a way. She's miffed at the Alliance for tearing up her old team, and plans to chew Kaiden out in ME3.

My maleShepard hooked up with Miri but messed with TIM over the data and the base. Should be interesting to see how that affects Miri in ME3.

True, but then you get an email from a pissed off Toombs who thinks you've lied to him :(

Oh, and my first playthrough I uploaded the files to Cerberus, but after that I sent it to the Alliance since Cerberus may be my allies now, but they haven't changed from what they did in ME 1.

Kept it. The Alliance liaison i sent it to might have passed it off to Cerberus anyway before giving it to Anderson.

Alliance. I spent half the first time trying to put Cerberus down, you really think resurrecting me for a suicide mission is going to change my tone?

I kept it for myself since I don't trust cerberus and the alliance would use it to handicap me. I figured its like convincing Tali to give Legion unclassified data to appease the geth and avoid a war that would cripple both sides before the big battle.
