I seriously want to know now, other than the OP, does anyone actually enjoy the Jacob romance? Becuase Id on;t want to try it if the OP is just yanking everyone's chain.

I came very, VERY close to posting pictures of Michael Phelps.  And at one point someone posted a picture of Jacob flexing and i looked for quite a while for a pic of Rocky from Rocky Horror Picture Show flexing before getting Medusa'd.

Trust me, it could have gotten weirder.

I personally haven't tried it.  I was seriously about Jacob being built though.

Never tried it, I did like him though.

No really, I'm all for giving Jacob a chance.  It's not that I found him unappealing, but I found my femshep's behavior around him unappealing.  I always felt dirty having to say lines like that.  I mean even leaning on that table talking about Cerberus is horribly suggestive.  It made me feel corralled as if Bioware was trying to push me on him before I even knew him. I felt like slamming on the brakes before anything even started.   If I hadn't been forced to say that crap then a lot of Jacob's lines would possibly have come across as not so lewd or even adorkable like he's trying too hard or something.  As it is, I got the impression that he thinks I'm a horny **** and sort of figures "oh, that's how she likes it" and responds in kind which ended up making him look bad.

I think they did the man a disservice with that treatment personally.  I was actually quite interested in him at first, but the in-game treatment of him killed it for me.

I wouldn't even say he's the best looking. His constant scowls and salutes are annoying. I also think he's by far the least intriguing of the three; his dialogue never interested me and I didn't care about his loyalty mission.

I like his romance. He gets fumbly and nervous at first. But then he warms up to you and hes an idealist and romantic.

I liked it. It's what my FemShep was looking for. Fierce, easy sex.

Although I can absolutely see why some players would immediately throw their guard up on the romance, her initial dialogue is dripping with invitation. It's sort of a 'woah there' moment.

I don't think he's even close to being the best looking. Maybe if you compare him to every male human NPC who isn't one of the squadmates past or present, or who isn't Ken.

Well I actually enjoyed Jacob's romance. I know some of his lines are cheesey but, he is the only LI who gives Shepard the chance to vent. Besides he's smexy and those abs are killing me lol
