The quality is better than I expected; arguably a bit better than the quality of the base game.  Definitely increased my opinion of Bioware.

Price point is probably a little high from a revenue-maximization standpoint, but not outrageous as a specialty market product.

Noone in their right mind would buy Pizza at a pizza shop then. $10 for a pizza that's gone in a few minutes? Noone would smoke either cause it's expensive AND kills you.

$15 isn't too much if you like playing Mass Effect, you get to play it whenever you (unlike pizza which is gone) want and it doesn't kill you (unlike smoking).

All DLC is optional anyway, if you don't want it, don't buy it.

A game like Crysis only lasts 7-10 hours, ME2 lasts 20-30 hours for the same price, ME is a great deal.

I just find it wierd how we get one character free but have to pay for another. Zaeed was free, added new weapons etc and the length was about the same, yet we have to pay for Kasumi.

$5 for Zaeed mission, $5 for firewalker mission, $3 for Normandy crash site mission, $2, for other assorted goodies = $15 which is the cost if you pay for it.

I'd say the Cerberus network is used up, I'd be amazed if any new missions came out as part of it.

Meh, I think they will throw the occasional heavy weapon into the Cerberus network, just so people can't complain there's nothing new for them.

Kasumi's mission is bigger than Zaaed's, the file size is bigger, there is more dialog, there are more cutscenes, there is a brand new score rather than recycled music that's part of the main game.

If we want to talk about overpriced let's talk about the alternate appearance pack.

The market determines the price of content. If Kasumi doesn't sell, you can conclude that it is overpriced.

I wouldn't call it quits on the free content just yet.  I'm confident there will be more that will be free.  Of course it won't be anything too substantial like large missions and things of the sort but N7 armor DLCs, new hammerhead missions, new weapons still have fair chances to be free releases.

The >1gb download suggests there is at least some content floating around there that wasn't already on the disk... still seems a bit steep though.

Looking from the replay value however, in this case counting the mere use of Kasumi outside her loyalty mission, I find Kasumi to be a bargain, her skills compliment my play style perfectly so I have used her in practically every mission since recruiting her, making her distinctly different from Zaeed who I use in his loyalty mission and never once more, before or since.

I have played it through twice, and I find it fun. Kasumi is a fine addition to the team. I've used her many times.
