But we seriously got to organize in order to help Bioware win the finals. If such an aberration is allowed to win, it'll be a blight upon the gaming world. A serious stain on the honor of true gamers!

All you have to do is look at their wiki page to see that they're a bad company:

Valve deserves to loose, its a horrible company with a bad bad bad customer support.
These free, constant Team Fortress 2 updates for a three year old game are great.
Sure beats paying $15 for 3 new maps until Team Fortress 27: Slightly More Modern Combat comes out.

I'm on the escapist periodically
and had yet to vote on any of their madness, but Valve vs the makers of
Facebook apps is just plain foolishness and that Valve is losing is
even more rediculous.
I agree, Valve are top tier developers.
Farmvill is probably winning due to casual popularity, I read something like 1% of the world plays it, that's frightening.
It's also frightening that this is an indication of the direction pc gaming will be going.

That and steam is horrible, ok given it became better then what it was and I still use it. But I have no love for it. I also hate what Valve did to Counterstrike and therefor raped it to the ground.
GO ZYNGA!

ehm games do not need to have a clearly defined ending or a victory condition to be classified as a game. A sim game, is one of those. It is a game, that simulates something, yet it does not have a defined ending or a victory condition.
Farmville = a sim game.
A sim game makes no sence. Its a sim period. simulations != games. That dosnt stop some simulations to be fun however.

Dear god. If BioWare goes against Zynga, there is NO chance of winning. Look at the vote counts! The difference is almost double!
Well atm i would say that BioWare is in the real finals. Even on these boards people are split between Blizzard and Bioware - something i dont think will happen over Zynga vs Bioware

on the contrary a sim game fits perfectly, as it is interactive and open to changes from the player. Were a pure simulation, only simulates what can happen based on pre-set variables.

I would cite training simulators not as games but as simulators. For example the simulators used to train pilots. Though on the whole this part of the discussion is going OT and I think its simply best to let it stop with a simple agree to disagree
