Honestly, this is the first time I even heard of some "Zynga". How can they be even compared to Valve?

There the most successfull casual website based game developer lol.

Well, I don't play website based casual games. But still, I am surprised that I haven't even seen the name before now...

I'm definitely gonna be over here rallying up support from the BioWare fans for the finals. Looks like we've got the match against Blizzard, but if Valve loses to Zynga -- and it looks like they will -- then it's all on us to bring them down. THIS IS OUR LAST STAND.

This is getting scary; Valve has the largest and most fanatical fan-base I've ever known and even they're losing to Zynga.... hopefully the people voting for Blizzard right now will vote for Bioware next round, so that Bioware can win this thing, as it rightfully should.

I never heard of them either but I think they made that Farmville game. Taking the world by storm. Moo.

Yeah, honestly, if Valve can't do it, I'm starting to wonder if BioWare can. The only difference is that Valve doesn't seem to care (or even be aware of the contest for that matter), whereas I DID see an update by the Mass Effect 2 Facebook group encouraging people to vote for BioWare... so maybe if they can rally up support, they can do it. Now's no time to hold back; they're about to lose to the makers of flipping FarmVille.

Dug out my old escapist login, voted for Valve, but still can't understand how some flash game developer can be compared to people who gave us the Half Life series. And have about 1200 votes more than Valve at the moment.

Ooh... Farmville. Heard about that one about two days ago, some people are apparently loosing their minds over it around here. So Zynga is responsible for it... interesting.

It really is an unfair battle considering the fact people are allowed to cast a second (or third) vote through Facebook, while we can't vote with a BioWare Social/EA, Steam or Battle.net account.

Also, I've read stuff on the Escapist forums about Zynga actually giving their fans an advantage in their games if they vote for them...

I just saw a "Vote for Valve" screen come up in my Steam notifications.  They're trying to win now.

Zynga isn't a game developer, it's a Facebook spam generator.

Yep, Farmville and Mafia Wars are just ways to exploit your friends for internet prestige.

Which ironically, is exactly what Bioware is doing with the Bazaar! I guess they realized they had to fight fire with fire.

Zynga's getting my vote in Round 6 against Bioware. At least they keep their bullchit out of my face.

Huh. I stand corrected, then.

Don't worry, even if Zygna wins against Valve (dear help me god...), then they will almost certainly lose the finals. Remember a saying, there is no thing like a gamer scorned? The Valve voters will vote for BioWare/Blizzard (depending on who wins) and BioWare/Blizzard fans will vote for whoever beat them to go against Farmville (depending on who wins, which I will find ironic seeing as both sides have been going 'herp derp blizzard/bioware sux lololol').

Do not let Zynga continue. The line must be drawn here, this far and no further! I'd rather lose to Blizzard now than face Zynga and lose.

I signed up to vote just because I don't like anything I've read about Zynga.

EDIT: Ha! Valve is winning now by a .1 percentage point. All the sweeter. Hopefully this keeps up.

The ridiculously tiny percent margin is kind of scary to be honest.

I can't believe online casual crap beat actual games that took effort to make like CoD, GTA, FF series...
Valve better win this round.
