Ubisoft is the same way.

They suspended my account there because Supposedly i used 2 accounts to post on the forums. Which I did at first. I was happily using my old account there before I bought settlers 7. Now thanks to that stupid drm they placed on it, I had to link my game to an account. Which ofcourse did not work so i had to make a new account.

Started posting on that and 2 days later, BWAM! Suspended. No reason, no contact info, cant even read the forums on the account or contact anyone. and there customer support telling me I need to contact them through the forums....

My god!

Did they suspend your account so that you were unable to play Settlers 7 too?

LOL, maybe you should read the TOS/EULA once in a while.

Having more than 1 account is against the rules of most services and definitely on terms of banning the alt-account and suspending the primary.

Maybe you should learn to read. It is not like I chose to create a new account, I was forced to. All just so i could play settlers 7.

And if Ubisoft is to stupid to understand that people need access to certain parts to reach a way to communicate about the suspension, then they should include that information within the email they send after suspending your account. So I could clear it up. And considering I posted a ticket in there support to delete my old account from there services, would be a nother way for them to be stupid to not check that.

and If one, puts in a ticket for the message boards (forums) for help on this matter, they should give you contact information, instead of directing you to go to the forums, for help. WHICH I CANT because a ubisoft suspension means "Forums = System Error"

Get whY i say ubisoft is just as bad? Sometimes it is simply not the fault of the user. Sure, i created a third account to contact them, which they banned. Which is not a problem, but atleast fricking answer the question I submitted on the email adress I left behind. But the forum Managers (not moderators) dont even answer that, they just ban it.

So again, I did not wrong. I was simply forced to create a new account to play Settlers 7.

No they revoked my ubisoft forum rights. So its not like I can't play the game because I am suspended (other then the fact there Draconian "älways online DRM" is retarded and keeps saying im not connected to the internet or server unavailabl, but thats a different issue and a patch will come for that.)

So yeah it is just the forums. Which I liked going too, since it has a decent Settlers 7 forum that gets answered by bluebyte developers ><

Most TOS also specifically state that they are not required to give you notice of any banning, or give you any explanation.

The reason I say you should read a TOS, is because you sign and agree to them once you make the account, so it's your fault for your own ignorance.

So, the first step you needed to take when the system didn't allow you to link Settlers 7 with your first account was to contact support and tell them your problems (if you had read and understood the TOS).

By immediately going to make an alternative account, you broke the TOS.  The people overlooking that don't know why you did that, they just see that you were breaking the TOS.

Don't moan about terms  that you fully signed and agreed to.

Who says im moaning about it, Im just saying they suck for it. Why would I waste a weekend + several days to get it to work with customer support, while I bought the game to play, not to sit pretty in my closet. It took them 2 weeks to tell me there was a bug in the drm software that prevented people or kicked people off the server.

2 ****ing weeks!
