seriously

It was all them in Me1, but they took alot of ques from fans and Me2 seemed to be rubbish in comparison.

Go back to doing it your way for ME3, Bioware. Because ultimate, I want to play game designed by bioware, not a horde of talimancers.

sorry for the double topic and originally blank OP

You want them to make it their way, as long as Samara is in it, eh?

I hope not. It won't impress the community if they do, that's for sure.

In what way do you suggest it was rubbish though? If you mean gameplay wise, that was not the fault of the fanbase. If you meant storywise, I personally felt the story catered pretty well to the fans as is. Granted, Liara seemed a little too cold for the fans, I'm sure all will be put right in ME3.

Bioware has always been pretty good at the balancing act between fans and the studio.

Mass Effect 3 will be nothing less than spectacular.

Because your fan opinion is more important than our fan opinion.

To be perfectly honest. If its a trade off between story quality that is equivilant between ME1 or Me2 with my favorite squadie. I'd picka  better story.

Don't get me wrong. I'd still rage a little, but I'ld be happier in the end.

You missed the entire point of the OP

It just seemed like fan opinion period played to big a role in ME2, and it lacked for it.

edit

the jab at talimancers was because... was because well they are tali mancers.

And that is your opinion. Now do you hope Bioware pays attention to it, or not? Conundrum.

No, the conundrum is whether to make an effort to go to sleep or continue to give in to insomnia

Honestly this thread is just because its 4 am

My hope is that Bioware makes a good game. Whether that involves pissing off fans remains to be seen.

But you're in the minority. Most people seem to think ME2 is awesome.

If BioWare had a problem with regards to listening to people when making ME2, it was not enough listening to the fans and too much listening to the gaming media/press and Gears of War fanboys who were taken off guard.

ME2 is a better game. ME1 is a better space opera.

Insofar as the story of the trilogy goes, ME2 doesn't do justice.

But insofar as the pacing and system goes (in and out of combat), ME2 is better. With the exception of planet scanning. That's crap just 'cos mining with the Mako wasn't necessary for getting better gear.

I think there are ways ME2 could be improved, just as I think there are ways ME1 could be improved. In many ways, ME2 did meet those improvements, but then it begs for some more. The only way they can make a better game is by responding to fans. Otherwise we'd get slower, heavier MAKO with steeper mountains and longer elevator rides. I would like a better balance between the focus on story and the focus on gameplay. But my wanting that makes no difference if Bioware doesn't pay attention to fans...

They should just wait for Natal, so "fans" can dust off their 20 sided dice.

Wait... I can't figure out if that is a jab at hardcore role playing gamers or casuals.
