I've unchecked all the 'send emails when... ' options, but am still getting e-mails whenever someone comments on a status update.

Known Issue (social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/6/index/793): there are two things that cause this regardless of your settings:

• When someone replies to a discussion post you get an empty email with the title =?UTF-8?B??=.
  
• When someone comments on a news feeds you get a polite note from Social with the title New Comment on your action by [commented_displayname].

The action comment update was fixed to actually use the person's display name some time back. We will investigate why some of the permissions are not being obeyed.
