Since i finished origins with romance between leliana and my character,at the end it said that we went together to rebuild Grey Wardens.
And then i started awakening and there is no sign of her,if we went together where is she then?

Perhaps with Zevran? He was rebuilding the grey wardens with my warden!



Really, they disregarded the epilogues from Origins.

She's not in awakenings unfortunately, i remember seeing a thread somewhere about letters that were cut from the game between the PC and Lel - if memory serves me correctly she was called back to help the Revered Mother in Denerim but i can't be too sure...

If you romanced her, Leliana will be mentioned in your Awakening epilogue but won't appear during the game. The same goes for Zevran and non-King Alistair. JRCHOharry is also right, there were letters for both Leliana and Zevran that were cut from the game. I don't know what the official word is on where they are now, but here are the letters anyway:

I hope you are well. Alas, I am unable to come to the keep as I promised. I am so sorry, but the Grand Cleric herself wishes to speak with me. I will tell you all about it once I have had my audience.

Is it true the darkspawn have not retreated? No matter, I'm sure you have it under control. Wish I could be there, killing darkspawn beside you. Perhaps you could save some for me? (All right, that was a joke. Do not spare them. That would be silly.)

Maybe you could consider growing some roses around your keep? That would make it so much prettier, don't you think?

I hear the darkspawn have still not gone away? They are like houseguests who overstay their welcome, no? I am saddened you have to deal with such business without me. It was a bad idea for them not bring Leliana, Zevran, and the mabari back as companions. They're the ones that should be joining you (based on decisions in Origins), not Oghren.

To be honest I have my doubts.
I've not heard anything official on it and that's announced suspiciously close to April Fool's Day.

Oh well, I guess we can only wait and see.

That is the problem with Bioware franchises : we are granted romances, peoples we really enjoy then all of the sudden, from game 1 to game 2 (or game 1 to expac in this case) .... poof ! no more love interest !
Mass Effect 2 being even more sadistic since you are granted new love interests + 1 photo and 1 short bracing meeting with the old one (Kiss throu the helmet ftw ME2 team !).

I treat it like a romantic intro to ME3... I truly believe that (if you were alive as well as your love blah blah blah) you will be able to continue the ME1 romance in ME3 (come on, the letters from your lovers speaks for themselves). I have a problem, because after somewhat borring romance with Alenko I went crazy for Garrus. I want to see these two meeting in ME3. Seriously, I want! xD



Getting back to topic:

I haven't played Awakening yet, but I don't expect anything, it's only an expansion. And I hope for at least SOMETHING in DA2. Even KotOR 2 had some references to romances from the 1st part.

And DLCs won't do the job- remember, so far we have all DA DLCs happening BEFORE the battle in Denerim, and I want the story to continue...

Wish my Leliana was in Awakenings Q.Q We got royally boned by BioWare. As for ME2's love interests, I'm quite satisfactory, finnaly got my Tali!

Where do you get these letters? And why was it cut??  Thats the problem with Bioware of not properly transfering romances, it was the case in DAO > DAA and ME1 > ME2 though quite honestly i couldn't give a rats ass about ME1's romances seeing i disliked all of them except kaiden when i play a femshep.

(ps i murdered ashley on my male playthrough).

By that logic, your LI shouldn't have even been in DA:O at all. I mean, a blight? Isn't that kind of a warzone?

I'm not sure. I think people went through the game files and found them. As for why they were cut, I have absolutely no idea. Perhaps they couldn't be implemented due to time restraints or perhaps Leli and Zev will make an appearance again in another expansion or game and Bioware decided to leave it open about where they had been? Or perhaps there really will be DLC for them. There were no non-King Alistair letters found, so it must have been something they decided against fairly early on in development I'm guessing? Really, I have no idea. It's a shame at any rate.

Really doubt they were cut due to time constraints, The letters themselves are very easy to make and put into the game, and as they are present in the game files they were in fact completed. They've been cut deliberatly, most likely for some future story reason.

Yeah, this is the possibility I'm leaning towards at the moment. That or perhaps with the number of variants at the end of DA:O the number of different letters needed would have been a pain to implement. I don't know. Hopefully we'll find out more later, and if not, at least they got an epilogue mention which is better than nothing at all.
