Zero other geth went with Legion.

As he said himself in slightly fancier words, the Geth didn't want to alarm the rest of the galaxy by sending out large amounts of Geth platforms, so for this job they created one advanced platform capable of operating alone.

oh yeah, thats right. Forgot Geth operate as a collective mind
Ok let me re-word my statement. Legion was the only PLATFORM that went out to look for Shepard.

Two sided question. Alot of people tend to think of Geth as the robot we are looking at/shooting at. In actuality, a Geth is a software program, the robot is just a shell for the software to communicate with the world. Think of it like this: Windows 7 is a Geth, the computer it is installed on is its platform, but the computer itself is not Windows 7(a Geth), just simply a way for Windows 7 to communicate with humans..
So, there were 1183 Geth installed on the Platform we know as Legion and the Legion platform was the only one sent outside of the Veil to look for Shep.
