Looks like Valve won, but they haven't tallied up all the twitter votes yet. Fingers crossed!

I love me some Valve...but BioWare has had my attention longer these past few months than Valve has.

Well it looks like the Zynga monster has been defeated!!! Huzzah!

I'm going to bump this for more votes! I love Valve and BioWare. BioWare is going to get my vote, but in my eyes there can be no wrong winner in the competition.

I think what people need to realize, it's not so much as "who is the best developer of all time" but rather "who has done more since the last March Mayhem."

Valve has released L4D2, announced Portal 2, and Half-Life 3 is still in hiding.

BioWare has Given us Dragon Age: Origins, an expansion for it, and another sequel.

That Sequel, however, steamrolled it's way past Legend of Legaia, Mario RPG, and Diablo 2 to be tied with Warcraft III as my favorite game of all time.

I voted for BioWare. Don't get me wrong, I love Valve. Just BioWare has done more for me this past year.

As stated, if this was a "best developer of all time," poll I could understand your arguments.

Valve hasn't done as much as BioWare has this past year, that's all I'm saying.

Oh? How about what Valve has done for the gaming industry this year?

Most of the decent Indy games only made it because of Steam. Of which there were many this year.

Steam is cool, yeah. Though where's Episode 3? Portal is announced, but it's not here yet. Yeah L4D came out, cool. Steam coming to Mac's, cool.

Though I need something besides news and the ability to go buy and Mac and play on it. BioWare has done that for me, not to mention while creating DLC for us and giving us an expansion to Dragon Age, all of this while developing the Old Republic.

I voted but 1000 votes is just too many. I want BioWare to win. RPGs are better than any shooter on this Earth and yes I didn't play Half Life and won't play it either. It may be great and all but it will not last the same ammount of time as Mass Effect. Plus I'm already stuck with Mass Effect. Stopping is difficult work.

It's true that Half-Life doesn't last nearly as long as, say, Dragon Age (though a long game isn't necessarily a better one). Still, I have to vote for Valve because they made TF2, which in my opinion is the only game that has come close to achieving near perfection.

Though I don't really care who wins since I like both of these developers.

Odd. BioWare fans are nearly half of the reason Valve is still in the competition. Now they're losing to Valve. Well-fought, BioWare! I'll take solace knowing you did so much more this past year than Valve did!

Edit: I still love Valve, I just love BioWare more.
