Any possible way to keep him alive or does he always die?  I cant seem to find a combo to keep him talking, just attacking.  And if death is always the right way, where to go from there?  Quest in the log just gets kinda vague and says, "Weylon's dead"....

Did you search the rest of the house?

Yeah just found real weylons body, but still nothing

Either on Weylon's body or in a chest somewhere is a note that opens the village of Haven up

Note in a chest in a bedroom opens up Haven and continues the quest.
