Ok. So I've been trying to finish the Warden's Keep with my second character, but there is a bug keeping me from doing so. I've got the save right before I talk to the alchemist the first time, and I'm not sure right now how many hours back my last save file is before that, and to be honest, I'm not fond of the idea of playing it over again, but I may have to. I've tried to finish the dlc from this save 4 times with this character, but apparently it's just not in the cards.
Anyway, here's what's happening. So I tell the alchemist that I'm going to kill him, and we fight. After defeating him, the map shows enemies behind a closed door, and I am still in the attack position. Because I am in the attack position, I can't open doors. So I can't fight the enemies that are supposedly there, and I can't leave the tower.
Anyone have any thoughts? Or does it look like I'm gonna have to replay a bunch of hours?

You need to cast Winters edge on them with your mage. This will go through the locked door as nearly all other spells won't. When you finally kill the last one the door should then re-open and progress out the room should be OK.
if you don't have winters edge try casting your other spells to see if any will bypass the door.. Morigan should have the spell as long as she is in your party.

Or if you have any acid flask or similar item u can use them i did and it got the enemy to open the door so i could kill it
