If the strategy guide is correct, then to obtain the specialization you must get past the locked door, and locate the phylactery to spawn the spirit who can grant you the specialization.

For me, there was no phylactery and the spirit was already spawned. Furthermore the dialogue option which I believed to be the correct one (I tried all of them) resulted in a combat and no means to obtain the specilzation.

Is this a bug?

I did not see any other means to obtain the specialization such as learn it via a tome you purchase from a vendor, dropped item, or from a party member?

The arcane warrior isn't bugged it's just nearly impossible to find. I walked past it several times. You're looking in the wrong room. It's in the room where you see a broken altar that says "It looks like something goes on top of this" (Not the altar with the stone jug in the room). The phylactery doesn't sparkle but it's on the floor behind and to the right if you're looking at the altar, just keep mousing over the until you see it. It just looks like a pile of bottles in the corner.

if your on the PC just run around with TAB on so you dont miss anything
