bugged such that if you turn in more than one quest at a time you don't get rewarded correctly.
I thought, hmmm..., that's weird I have never heard of that. So I went to test this out. I did the first Chanter quest in Lothering, the one that asks you to take care of the bandits. I then turned it in and received 3 gold as compensation.
Now, at this point, in all my previous play-throughs I have taken the next two Chanter Board quests. This includes the one where you have to kill the wolves and take the keepsake from the mother’s body and the one to kill the three angry bears. I complete both of these quests before I go back to the chanter. When I go back and turn them in I have always received 50 silver.
Well, this time, I did each separately. I turned in the first one and received my 50 silver. I then went back out to kill the bears. I came back turned it in and received 1 gold plus an item!! Whoa, ok.
In my play-throughs of the game up to this point I have turned many, many quests at the same time. I may have turned in up to 6-7 Chanter quests in Denerim at once.
How many items and how much money have I missed out on? Does this also affect the XP gain for turning in quests? I was only checking rewards in my little test. Do you guys who knew about this go out of your way to turn your quests in individually or just ignore it. Is there a user made mod that fixes the issue? It seems like I have been missing out on a fairly significant amount of money.
Also, I apologize. I know this is probably old news to most folks here but, this is the first time I realized it was an issue.
