The collector base, damn I still don't know what to do with it

The only reason this decision was easy to me was if you spared it, it's going into the hands of TIM. I don't trust him whatsoever, so I wouldn't put all that tech into his hands.

Yes, but it was his tech that got you that far, sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. especially if it will help against the reapers

And then you become TIM's puppet, and I wouldn't want him in a larger seat of power. You're right, but at the same time I would rather take my chances and find another way. As Shep says to TIM over the course of ME2 "There's always another way" and "I won't fear let me compromise who I am". It's grey area, both ways are a total risk. I love BioWare games for this very reason. =]

Rush to go save my crew and only spend a little time with Legion or let my crew die and spend more time with Legion.

Hardest decision was the cerberus side quest in ME 2. Give the data to alliance/cerberus or keep it for myself. ?Hmmm. Still makes you think!

The save the colony or save the space port one is hard. On one hand you save a few hundred colonist, but the colony would be lost as it would be no longer profitable. As such I went with the other, its the better for the long term.

In ME1 it was BDtS.

In ME2 the decision of what to do with the genophage data was tough.

Well you can always do sidequests with Legion after the suicide run.

Personally, it was during Legion's loyalty mission, when you had to decide to either destroy the rouge Geth or "re-program" them to follow the old ways.  Either way, you feel like an ass after choosing.  Posted Image

In ME1, it was Bring Down the Sky. I hated to let the hostages die, but there was no way I was going to let the terrorist walk free so I terminated him.

In ME2, it was the decision to blow the base. I blew it for a number of reasons, but it was a clear loss of significant intel on the Reapers.

Actually, I can't think of a single decision in either ME1 or ME2 that I found hard to pick. I guess the closest is the choice about the Rachni, neither of the two options would be ones I'd actually pick. I'd leave their fate up to the council.

Strangely, it was Zaeed's loyalty mission. My first playthrough I didn't know if I could keep his loyalty if I chose the paragon option, so I let them burn :(

Playing paragade (or is it renagon?) my first time through, I couldn't decide whether to advocate for war or to pursude the Quarians to find a peaceful solution to the Geth. I ended up chickening out and using the neutral interrupt: "I have to go."

Might seem odd... but my toughest decision was in ME1... right at the start... chosing what class to play.  I did a lot of reading before I chose.  I went for Vanguard.

Chosing to keep the collector ship or not was tough.  Kaiden vs Ash was easy because I chose to save my LI.

So ok wait?? If you go after your crew immediatley that means you cant fully upgrade Legion and he dies in the end or can he live????

Just wondering>> :)

Garrus' loyalty mission was a complete dilemma . Like seriously. On one hand I totally understood where Garrus was coming from. Being betrayed and having your teammates killed is one of the worst things that can happen, and I would totally want revenge as well. And the fact that Garrus blamed himself for the entire thing and was so consumed by the guilt and anger just made the situation worse. However, on the other hand, to let himself be completely consumed and controlled by that anger I figured would only serve to hurt him later on. Also I believe Garrus is above that level of revenge. First time I played, I let him shoot Sidonis cause I wanted to please him, but I felt like crap afterwords. However the second time (after I accidentally erased my entire ME2 file like an idiot) I didn't let Garrus shoot him. And I think it was the right choice. I figured if Shepard really loved him, she'd let him see the error of his ways, instead of just blindly letting him do what he wanted to do.

Other than that, I was pretty set on my decisions... However I'm still unsure about what to think of the genophage. XD

Well when I played through the suicide mission I didn't have Legion's loyalty or upgrades and he still managed to live surprisingly. I just didn't let him help out with anything. So from my personal experience he can still in fact live  through the suicide mission =)

ME1 = Kill the Rachni Queen or let her live

ME2 = Whether to rewrite or destroy the "heretics" on Legion's loyalty mission.

I just know those two decisions will have consequences in ME3

As for destroying the base, it was an easy choice - TIM is not to be trusted.

Hardest decision ... actually bother to take a detour for some of the squadmates' "loyalty" missions?

I was like, seriously? The galaxy is at stake and you want to go poking about on a remote uninhabited planet?

Asking to finish things up before going on a suicide mission isn't that out there. If I think I'm going likely going to die when I would want to take care of some things first.

I didn't really have any moral conflictions because I am always paragon.

Asking is fine.
Deciding to actually bother with it as Shepard? Not so much.
