I know why. Allister isn't really gay. That's why. Could you pleasure a man if you're into women? I'm quite sure I couldn't.
except the scenes exactly the same for women so that point falls flat on its face(oh and alistair looked like he was enjoying it)
also this look screams YOUR DOING IT WRONG

Why not do it in later games, too? They do accept both of them into the family and presumably pretend the kid is a miner. I wish you could ask about the brand because if the kid did have it then definitely send him to the surface. In my first game, I went out of my way to get Zerlinda's father to take her back.
I always use the situation with the elves. Nobles really have no reason to think about the casteless and the DN is revealed to be so sheltered that not only has she never heard of a noble hunter but she apparently has no idea the carta exists either if the conversation the non-Proving DN can have with the trainer is any indication. Honestly, does Endrin let that poor girl go anywhere?!?! And here I was thinking he wouldn't let her walk by herself to the Proving was just because of the over-eager merchants...I do struggle with finding a RP reason for Gilsa to be in favor of the casteless.

MISSA AS WONDY why brainnn why you think these thoughts
And I was wondering something: I know that the brands are applied
sometime after birth but before the child is old enough to escape the
life of a casteless (probably when they're named if Mardy's situation is
any indication), but how exactly are they applied? What are they,
even? Are they tattoos forcibly put on or is it a literal brand? Those
poor babies...and in order for the brand to look that big when they grow
up, it must take up half the kid's face when it's first applied.

I've no idea about this. Would technically exiled aeducans be branded as well?
