I think it's done with the naming. The ones that go to the surface only have to wear a "brand" when in the city (merchant tells you this). Being a GW isn't being casteless and branding somebody before going off into the deep roads seems kind of unnecessary.

There's not much point branding an exile since they can't return. It's only casteless in Orzammar that need brands as apparently even though they are clearly the scum of the stone, it's not obvious enough to dwarves with castes so they need the extra help. Not to mention that if my DN got branded then Bhelen would automatically die each and every playthrough no matter how good he'd be for Orzammar...

Hey, did we ever get Dulin's 'I don't trust you even though Lord Harrowmont does so I'm just not going to tell him you want to see him until you win the Proving' for the DN? It kind of annoyed me, but I could see where he was coming from and he wasn't necessarily wrong about me either.

If only Bhelen or Vartag could have bothered to be polite they would win so much more often...

We do have the VO notes posted for Bhelen and the DN and polite is the last thing he is. He's perfectly civil to everyone else but can't seem to help himself around her. Since Bhelen always becomes King in a non-DN game being polite certainly seems to help and you'd think he'd put more effort into making sure that the girl he screwed over and had fed to darkspawn would want him on the throne as opposed to the man who had given her the information she needed to survive the Deep Roads and not just feel free to insult, mock, dismiss, and threaten her.

I hope so because otherwise it's just uncharacteristic stupidity and he really should be able to look past petty childhood grudges (that I really wish we knew more about) to secure the throne.

I think the Alistair fans will be harder to sway as so many of them love being Queen Cousland and they'd have to mod it to get Queen Brosca or Queen Aeducan (well, at least as Ferelden Queen).

Plus they won't tell us why dwarves don't go into the Fade naturally so you KNOW that will come up.



Dalish elves on the other hand...you really have to wonder why they bothered with that origin. It took me four hours to get through when I played it because it was so freaking boring I kept leaving to do other things...

No, the Sten romance is the best thing. Dwarf romance comes at second place though.

I couldn't even bring myself to activate his romance so I'd have an excuse to ignore all the other romance options (except possibly Zevran since he's also elven)! I ended up having to fall back on 'I'm Dalish so I'm angry and humans killed the parents I never met twenty years ago or so so I'm also angry!' which just made me kind of hate my character. She got better once she went crazy and became incapalbe of keeping her origin straight, though.

I find that origin the most boring of all. I almost feel like its juts there so you can see the Dalish from a different perspective. It's just.. why is it so boring?

No, the Sten romance is the best thing. Dwarf romance comes at second place though.

Oh, I know. I like Gorim's romance better than Leliana's and he's only in the game for maybe an hour max. Now imagine what it would be like if they had a full-time character that they put as much effort into as with the other romances...
