Does anyone have a save prior to the landsmeet with Anora set up to marry hardened Alastair?

@tmp -- Thanks for looking it up. Making out with a dwarf male is like making out with a body builder. *wiggle eyebrows* GA-ROW.

I do. I have saves right before I talk to Anora about marrying hardened Alistair, right before I tell Eamon to start Landsmeet, and right before I walk in through the Landsmeet doors (after I kill Caulthern). It depends on how far back you want to start.

I am a n00b in what files you'd like sent though. In a save folder, I can see .das, .das.met, .dds, and XML document files. Would you need the whole folder or just one of these files in the folder?

This is kind of random, but Gilsa your new avatar looks just like my aunt, your old one looked just like my mother, and your DC like me...

That's just so bizarre. Posted Image

The whole folder, remove the save folders that aren't that specific save. I'm even more of a noob than you probably, but how hard can it be ;).

Why not? I just bought some more brain bleach.

Nice. Btw, how does Sarah know what your aunt looks like?

That's a silly question; I'm obviously stalking her.

Sexual reasons or plotting violent acts?

Heh. I knew what she meant!

BTW, Sarah, I was ROFLing at your comment in the Zath thread -- to care about him, you'd have to care about the Dalish, soooo ...

PRICELESS.

I did try. I did the Origin and everything but now I think I might actually care less than I did beforehand...

That's the last origin I've yet to finish. I'd like to at least see Tamlen again at camp so I'll get around to it eventually.

I've managed to play at least the first half (going into the Deep Roads, dealing with the scout's BS, and getting framed for fratricide just aren't as much fun) of the DN origin at least a dozen times and it took me four freaking hours to get through the Dalish one. And that's the short Origin! It's just...not compelling. And when there was the option to patronize the new guy...I've seen the Alienages. That he ran away to the mythical Dalish tooks guts and life there is horrible. When my character and the one who was teaching him to use a bow were talking down to him I wanted to punch them. Ditto for the pretentious story-teller passing along his bitterness to the next generation. The only character I actually liked was the one who was willing to defy the Keeper to help you find Tamlen. And your mother figure! If you don't persuade her to tell you about your parents she'll let you leave potentially forever without ever mentioning it? The hell, Origin?!?!

And again: really, really...Posted Image

*Ponders*, what did the Dwarves use as a method of transportation between thaigs? Brontos? It seems that the concept of chariots is not alien to them (according to Oghren), so maybe that's what they used.

And it's very curious. The first step in human development is agriculture and being settled. Agriculture is an impossibility undergroud, so what was the first step in Dwarven development? If the human experience is to be applied to the Dwarves, then a hunter / gatherer society (which is all the Dwarves could be without farming) doesn't really evolve much. So how did the Dwarves become developped? Hmmm, interesting. I want to know about Dwarven cuisine *keeps pondering*

Underground is teeming with life. Just not life that surface dwellers would find appealing to eat. But there are plenty of things to cultivate and eat: nugs, fungus, mosses, algaes, lichen, deep stalkers, insects, ect. We see no dwarven "farmers" caste, but I'd imagine that cultivating these things probably falls into the duties of one of the castes, perhaps servant or merchant.

Remeber Jarvia's hideo-out? And one of the tunnels lead to onme that had deep stalkers, nugs, and brontos corraled like pigs or goats. I'd imagine different places have such enclaves.

There are also fish down there, as seen in Cadash Thaig (where the Darkspawn seem to catch them for food).

Well, wasnt Ruck right next to that river? If the streams easily provided sustenance, why would he resort to eating Darkspawn?

Either he's an idiot or those were tainted fish.

I played a M!Mahariel play through to the end. He is a bitter, bitter thing ruined both by the Ferelden society he fought to protect and Morrigan. Mostly Morrigan. He's back being a loner in the lands Alistair gave him with his dog, after spending time visiting Sten (his bro!) and RUNNINGGGG AWAYYYYY from responsibility.

Oh, and I thought TAMLENNNNN was an idiot. But I did write this as a a writing exercise for a prompt as I wanted to experiment a little with a different style rather then the dialogue heavy, little description stuff I do for Duster.

My mum is Romany gypsy so I got a bit of a soft spot for wandering travellers! It honestly goes Dwarves > Dalish > THE REST > Cousland for me <.<
