how do your rogues end up being tanks? I always end up in beginner leather armor the entire game and drop very easily...
So I was gonna be a warrior with a nice sword and tons of armor

Your PC is a far better tank then any other character anyway, provided you are a melee character of course.
Hell after finishing my Brosca I found playing her to be almost equal on survivor scale as my Dwarf Noble Tank.
[quoteI actually think a dwarven crossbow archer could be a pretty neat concept. [/quote]
There are no crossbows in game that can even compare to the bows in stats alone, let aside speed.

Rogues have a talent called evasion, which makes though as hell to hit. They also have high dexterity, which makes em harder to hit.

While strength rogues are now more viable in this game thanks to Legion Scout specialisation, it's still kind of silly to play a rogue in plate and/or with as shield. Rogues don't work that way.
But! This is a RPG, so play what you want. I still ****** over SRSBZN dps charts though, as once a raider always a raider: GUIS GUIS I AM 2ND IN DPS THIS MEANS I'M WINNING AMIRITE? aaw yeah, over 9k that's right, Recount is for winnnnnerrrrrrssssss....

Not to mention high-ish strength is required for the weapon/shield/armor I want.

I discovered reason #7904 last night -- there is a SA version of Morrigan's outfit, which actually covers her up some more. I LOVE IT. Basically she has sleeves now, but she looks so much more comfortable and natural in her environment. I can't believe I didn't look for more Morrigan stuff before. I also have a mod that makes Morrigan look like she did in the SA trailer. I haven't decided if I'll keep it on her or not since I haven't found her in the Wilds just yet, but that outfit is staying forever and ever.
aawn, I love Morri's original outfit. I'm not a fan of mucking about with the companions, I like my Leliana with her BIG EYES and and Morri with her scowly face.

well if you will play on a pvp server...Costin_Razvan wrote...
Urgh..World of Warcraft. That brings back memories...especially when related to Alliance and ROGUES.
(I did pvp on my holy paladin though, and arena'd on my hunter.) Oh dear lord, I was One Of Those.

Fun thing though. I have a space goat paladin.....but in my defense I can say I can't play Horde again after I lost my proud Blood Elf Paladin to a hacker...I spent well over 2 years in that elf getting her as a tank through BC...."snips"
Fun thing though. I used to have rogues for dinner as a paladin
But speaking of awesome dwarves in World of Warcraft. Magni is a hell of a guy. Killed him once just as patch 3.0 was release before Wrath of the Lich king. Four hour boss fight with 40 people from the very best guilds on my server. Since I was on Magtheridon EU, well you can figure what kind of people I had with me.

RUN QUICK RUN FOR YOUR LIFFFEEEEEEEE.
Seriously though, it's a lot of effort to put into a video game, and feeds off addiction. Though it's a nice way to make friends and spending your evenings cracking jokes in Ventrilo while a group of you slaughter pixels isn't that bad!

Or the constant frustration of wiping on bosses in Black Temple or Hyjal back in BC pre 3.0 Because you had a guild full of complete and utter morons, yet you couldn't get a better one cause you were a protection paladin wanting to Main Tank. Oh well, at least I tanked Illidan and Brutallus pre 3.0 with them ( on first kills no less )...idiots as they were.
Truthfully however I have a rogue with 30 Strength in Dragon Age. Then again I don't take Dragon Age seriously, as it can be finished by a complete moron who knows how to craft potions on Nightmare.
World of Warcraft made me realize that most people in this world are idiots. A popular saying was Room Temperature>IQ in one of the Elitist Guilds I was in...sadly it was too true.

There is too much else to do for me to play. And because I'm cheap.
Ergo: Only played a trial once.
