Truthfully they make you have a rather interesting view about the human species. Would probably have been like you Knight had I stayed WELL away from them.

Instead I spent almost four years of my life dealing with some of the worst scum known to man.

Sounds like the few months I spent playing Diablo 2....

I remember people, along with the hacks and frauds, selling the Wibndforce bow on ebay for 600 bucks. Seriously. This was at the start of the big recession. 600 bucks was half a paycheck for me. My monthly rent. And somewhere, out there, some spoiled assed little punk spent 600 bucks of daddy's hard earned cash on a pixelated weapon that at anytime, could get hacked or deleted.

After I finished that game, never played another MMO again. Personally, I find computer AI far more fascinating company.

There was a rogue once in World of Warcraft, best geared in the world, who got bought for around 7.000 US dollars. The buyer apparently is the crown prince of the United Arab Emirates

He got permanently banned in about 24 hours. Way to spend money! Though that guy does have hundreds of millions of dollars...

This is not personal, but the american players I had the "pleasure"( read wanted to shot self ) ....well there are just no words..

About WOW, I was actually a big Warcraft fan. I liked the lore and I loved the strategy games that founded it. The reason I hate WOW is that it destroyed the lore. It just destroyed it utterly.

The Lich King reigned supreme in Warcraft III the Frozen Throne and did all this planing and achieved all this success, just to be beaten by a "SexiDoctor783"?!

So I am just going to assume that the Warcraft lore ended with the Frozen Throne and that the Lich King was victorious and achieved Godhood.

I agree wholeheartedly there Knight. Truthfully the sole reason I started World of Warcraft was because of the lore...then I got into the whole raiding thing and well.

It did kill the game for me when they decided to allow any moron to kill any boss in easy mode. Seriously what game the game fun was that you felt a challenge while you battled Illidan/Kil'Jaeden/ Archimonde etc. Those were tough battles that took WEEKS of planning/trying etc. So they lived up to their badass names.

There might be hope however. They apparently are planning Warcraft IV, which will NOT follow the events of World of Warcraft, but will pick up after The Frozen Throne ends.

Though I wouldn't go around insulting people who killed the Lich King, apparently he is a **** of a fight that requires careful strategy, skill and reflexes. At least on 25 Heroic.

Uhm no...seriously just watch the fight from Paragon.

You have a ****ton of adds that deal 100k damage on tanks. Insane AOE damage which you can't avoid and to top it off an enrage timer that forces the highest geared guilds to go with 5 healers.

You live or die by split second reflexes. Not by 2-3 second margin you had with Fire in BT/Hyjal.

But...you know what's the sad part? That the vast majority of people can't even complete the first point on your list, let alone the rest.

It's all speculation, but Rob Pardo ( Blizzard Executive Vice President ) said that if Warcraft IV ever came around it would have an alternate storyline to WoW and they would use a similar system to that of Starcraft for campaigns and such.

I thought all nationalities, ethnies, religions, looks, genders...etc are bashed everywhere.
Hence why we get atrocious communities like the WoW one, come to think of it.

I don't know, it's pretty easy to avoid anti-American sentiment when you live in America. Extreme patriotism, on the other hand...that you're just kind of stuck with. And Fox. God help us, we created Fox. Posted Image

You know you're a dwarf geek whennnnnnn:

*You look at your country's current politcal climate and think, "hmm, it's a stalemate! Like Bhelen/Harrowmont." (lol hung parliment)

*You imagine the Grey Warden as Nick Clegg trying to pick a side and spend longer then is necessary trying to work out his Origin. (Human Mage, by the way...)

Not evenly, no. Some get special attention/extra honorable mention, depending on particular source of bashing, and bashee. I've learned it's a very complex formula.

I am so glad I stopped at Warcraft 2, really.

I've never gotten patriotism, here we hardly celebrate our national day. I think it was made into a holiday instead of White Monday about 5 years back to try and make people care about it.

Patriotism was always a pretty alien concept for me, because it requires me to somehow believe in some greater connection to people I do not know, simply because they live within the same artifical lines on the map that I do, and might speak the same language. It requires some manner of philanthropy on my part, is blasphemy.

I barely feel any kinship towards my family. Let alone 300 million potential Jerry Springer guests.

In our last presidential election we sort of had a Bhelen and Harrowmont figure in that one was really old and the other seemed kind of inexperienced. Of course, a lot of people were terrified Harrowmont would drop dead and his successor...yeah. Long live Bhelen! Even if no one believes in his birth certificate!

How about...you've stated saying 'By the ancestors' instead of 'Oh my God'?

EVERYONE here celebrates the Fourth of July. It's one of the major holidays and if you don't go see fireworks, apparently there's something wrong with you. And don't expect the fireworks to even be limited to the fourth, either...And not all of it is just people looking for an excuse to shoot off fireworks, either.

I live in the middle of a desert. Fireworks are illegal out here because it starts brush fires. =p (We have to travel to counties that do it safely and legally.)

There are places in the country that actually enforce fireworks laws?

It's srsbsn out here. We had refugees coming all the way out here during the San Diego brushfires. We are required by the city to clear the weeds around our house to cut down on the risks of brushfires as well. During one of the brushfires, I could see the flames from my back porch. It was miles away and we were fine, but we could see it going on.

I go to Disneyland for my firework fix anyway (annual pass, woo woo). ;)

I heard there are some states in the US with some very stupid laws...but I guess the anti-firework ones are reasonable.
