So I just looked at the character creator and apparently they give you TWO shades of gray but only the Bhelen-colored blonde. That is so not fair...why is the game $30?!?!

They used the same thing for all characters. How rude to add the grey hairs for your perusal.

But ALL of the characters are in their twenties or so. And I wouldn't mind the grey if they had the blonde.

Rica is so naive that it's hilarious. My DCs always feel really overprotective of her. You'd think a poor prostitute with an abusive drunk of a mother and whose brother kills people at the whim of a crime lord would be a bit more worldly and cynical.

She's certainly worldly and cynical when it comes to the DN.



"Oh, Bhelen would never kill his brother! His brothers and Harrowont always hated him but he's a better person! And even if he's not, I don't care because nobles are all horrible people. Except for Bhelen."



That really pissed me off when I heard it. She was basically saying the DN (and Trian) deserved it for who their parents happened to be and considering she's not willing to accept her lot in life as a casteless in Dust Town, that just seems really hypocritical of her.

I meant all the PCs.

Do we actually meet anyone besides Leske and Morrigan with black hair? Red hair seems to be far more common in the game.

Huh, that seems odd. During the opening convo in the DC origin, she's defends them with"I have little love for the nobles, but they know, more than any of us, what the darkspawn have taken from our kind. Every noble I've met has had a brother or cousin lost in the Deep Roads." if you comment that the casteless would attack the nobles if they were allowed to fight.

Well she's certainly changed her mind if this is any indication:

PC: What if Bhelen did kill his brother?

Rica: You don't understand what nobles are like. They fight for power like rats over bread. (VO: Trying to persuade someone passionately)

Rica: His brothers hated him. They, and Lord Harrowmont, would do anything to bring him down. But he wouldn't stoop to that level. (VO: Defending someone passionately)

Rica: He knows the most important thing to the ancestors is family loyalty. I hope you know that, too.

So basically, Rica doesn't think he did it but if he did oh well, they deserved it.

I will give you reason #5780236 -- this isn't available yet, but it may be eventually so keep your fingers crossed ...

Look at this -- male versions of light armor being available for human and elf characters so they don't have to run around looking like tarts:

Another problem is I'm not sure it would work on my laptop since the character creator kept crashing and I had to use the downstairs computer, which is right by the kichen and the TV so I'd never get to play it in peace, especially not during the summer.

I can't help but wish that there was some kind of snide remark when Varathorn says that the elven crafts will be finer than anything else on the battlefield. I mean, you're talking to a dwarf, and making things out of wood. Be real.
