*on second G&T* I'll get hammered for you!

What? I can't be a proper dwarf without drunk, obviously. Actually my Brosca doesn't drink, so, uh... I'll drink for her!

Why not? Do you live in Saudi Arabia?

Heh, I live in the exact opposite of Saudi Arabia:

Texas.

I never get to be drunk because I work 'on call', meaning that at any moment I could get a call and have to go to work. And if I show up drunk, they'll stop paying me. Bastards.

this is true also.

I am converting some to the Way Of Brosca, though. Perhaps my Brosca isn't the right one to go about it, though- despite awesome naked art.

Off-topic but...

In the betrayed from within quest why is it so much easier to convince Vartag I was planning on screwing over Harrowmont all along then I simply changed my mind? I had a save right before talking to him (at level seven or eight) and he called the 'I changed my mind' a 'transparent ploy' while the other one got a 'that is true.' Shouldn't saying I changed my mind and realized that Harrowmont was weak or would otherwise make a bad king be more convincng then I screwed him over for the lulz, particularly as a DN that they never trust until the crown is on Bhelen's head?

Because Vartag is a sneaky, repulsive, little nughumper and thus assumes as a matter of course that everyone else shares his own faults.

Hasn't there already been an epic dwarf run thread?

Yeah, Dulin is all "I wasn't expecting this because I fail at politics" but he's nicer so I forgive him. Does anyone actually believe that Harrowmont's cousin really has ties to the carta? At least the first forgery was somewhat believable. And does Dulin or Harrowmont notice this when you talk to them after planting that evidence? I know Bhelen didn't seem to notice the evidence about Trian's death Harrowmont started spreading around.

They could just try, I don't know, IGNORING it. They've never really bothered me as I don't make an effort to stare at the arms.
