Since it's a Dwarven thread, I think the Dwarves' best creation, the Golems (and Shale), should recieve some love. If only Caridin didn't go crazy when he became a golem. But it seems madness or some other mental problem is the fate of all paragons.

Since it's a Dwarven thread, I think the Dwarves' best creation, the Golems (and Shale), should recieve some love. If only Caridin didn't go crazy when he became a golem. But it seems madness or some other mental problem is the fate of all paragons.

Given that we become Paragons in the end that is worrying. At least with Caridin you can blame the centuries of being cut off from everyone but his fellow golems who appeared to be enslaved.

Ok, moment of truth. Who here on their very first playthrough actually liked Branka or was interested in her before meeting her? Almost everything said about her is positive, except mediocre social graces (an understatement). She is a genius, there is no doubt. And the notes in Ortan thaig that hinted at her love of Oghren.

And then bam, bat**** crazy Branka. In fact if you redeem her, you find out sher's been hearing voices (the souls in the anvil).
She is the only thing that makes preserving the anvil not sound perfect and I want to hate her for it.



I think her hair is cute.

My first character was a HN who resented being forced to trek all the way through the Deep Roads to look for her, so no. I hated her even before I knew she was crazy. And this was before I even discovered the joy that is dwarves.

It's true. I knew nothing about the game and thought being a noble sounded cool. And it is, just not necessarily a HUMAN noble. I mostly just like to pretend that never happened, though. DN was my second playthrough. Or third, really, as I tried to play HN again but it bored me so I stopped a few hours in.

My first character thought she was dead, and by the time he learned she was actually still alive, he'd already learned about Laryn and Hespith. That sort of killed any possibility of liking her.

Yeah, it's kind of sad that she did Oghren a favor by ditching him. Was Hespith the only reason she left him behind?

1) Shale is awesome and I miss her on my Missa playthroughs and Awakenings

2) My first character was a male HM called Aidan. I was so very clueless how to play, and he got abandoned at level 13 so I could play my female DN instead.

My first character was my DN. Who I ****ed over so much in the armor depertament ( did not know about set bonuses ) that after finishing the game I deleted him and restarted. The former raid leader in me was wanting to smack myself for not bothering to read on wiki first.
