lol, soignee -- I was just thinking that I was probably the only married person with a kid in this thread. Everyone is in school, etc. Plus with the kind of debates and analysis we have here, it reminds me of an old bumper sticker, "Hire a college student while they still know everything." =p

Anyone else?
I probably own more shoes then this entire thread combined, and spend half my salary on a handbag this month. And that was using a friend's discount.

Seriously my mother has like 4 purses.
My lovely mother, at her almost sixty years, has a fine collection of about 10....of which she only uses the most worn out of them all. When I asked her why, she said it was the most practical.
"Then why the **** buy the rest?"

What is this obsession with purses that you women seem to have?
Seriously my mother has like 4 purses.
I have 2 bags. One is huge and I end up shoving all this crap in it and carrying it around, so I ended up buying a little nippy one that will just fit my essentials. I Hopeeeee.

I have no idea but my mother regularly accuses me of not being a girl for not owning one. And then there's the one pair of shoes thing. And then there's the fact I don't want to talk about boys with her...thegreateski wrote...

Apparently I fail at being a girl.
And Herr even admitted he's more of a girl than me...and someone took a screenshot, though I don't remember who.

Hey, drinking is a hobby not an obsession! "Waves his Jack Daniels."

A purse can be so easily stolen, and living in a country with a high rate of thieves. I can safely say it's more practical to not have one. Of course getting someone to actually listen to you on that account is rather interesting.

NOPE! Seriously bags and wallets are Things I Never Own. I used to use my travel card as a wallet to shove my credit cards in, classy eh? Thought I'd start being a grown up and brought a handbag. Like proper women have, obviously.

And I don't use purses myself either. I tend to just carry my ATM card and my driver's license in my backpocket. If I'm going someplace like Disneyland or the grocery store, I tend to wear pants that have buttons or zippers on the pockets to make them harder to access.

More often then not I either have a big bill, too little money in small bills to just pay without change. My life sucks.
