Oh, I know. I make a save before I talk to Gorim and if the line doesn't show up, I go back to the previous save and keep working on it. Gorim has given me the Aeducan shield a a dozen times already. =pBigBad wrote...
It's possible that the dialogue you're looking for is only possible during the first reunion conversation with Gorim. Like the Oghren/Gorim dialogue that only triggers the first time you speak to Gorim as a non-DN.

Ah...so I need coffee..okay. Was just reading some **** that coffee stimulates the part of the brain responsible for imagination, as does exercise.

I honestly do it for the buzz after, it's like free drugs, or the best expresso shot that lasts hours after. Boxercise is gruelling (my instructor is like a 5'1" grinning puniisher of a woman) but after I feel like I can do anything and OH GOD I AM AMPED WAIT I NEED TO DO MORE EXERCISE LET'S GOOOOOOO
woah oversharing on the internets, carry on.

By the way, the Broodmother plotline becomes all the more creepy when you're playing as a solo female dwarf!

My exercise routine consists of:soignee wrote...
I exercise 4-5 times a week too! hehehe I get weird ideas during yoga the most. I do aerobics on monday, boxercise (urgh the worse) tomorrow stretch and tone on thursday and maybe a pilate/yoga class on the weekend if I feel like it. I got Wii fit too which I occasionally poke.

GET OFF THE TREADMILL.
I SAID GET OFF.
Wait. Let me finish this lap. I SAID GET OFF.
I actually have a notepad I keep on the mantle to keep track of how far I walked in between the times the toddler wants his turn to walk on the treadmill. I'm lucky if I can finish it all in one go. Have to break it up or do it during his naps, but I have errands that need to be done while he's napping sooo ... =p
You get the idea.

Yeah, I'm glad he supplemented the Loghain happy at me since he's so awesome but I do wonder how thrilled his wife is about the sudden move.Gilsa wrote...
Yeah, I pissed off Alistair bad in my DN game and Gorim telling me he's coming home to Orzammar with me seemed to make everything better. He's a good soul, that one!

Hey, I got an idea for a fun little game we can have. Everyone tell us how they got their Dwarven names, what do they mean / symbolise, why....etc.
I have only one Dwarven character (as of yet), whose name is Dain Aeducan. I got the name Dain from LOTR Battle for Middle Earth 2, where Dain is the King of the Dwarves of Erebor. I initially thought it was a cool sounding name that went well with "Aeducan" and that it's unquestionably Dwarven. But I remembered that Dain had close relations with the human surfacers near his kingdom called the men of Dale (ironic I know). So seeing how poor Dain is going to become a surfacer and has to deal with pesky humans, I thought this name would be appropriate.

That's spooky KoP, my Dwarf Noble sitting in Ostagar waiting for his game turn is named Dain as well, but I took it off Arthur Dayne from the Song of Fire and Ice Series as he was it's version of King Arthur, and I figured Dain sounded more Dwarvish than Dayne. Now I may have to rename him, damn you. You better not have humans named Rhys, I'm just saying.

I have completed the game on DNM, DEF, HNM and DCF while also having a CEM and Mage F in their early stages, and the HN is the only one I felt I needed to change his name, which I did to Boromir...
Yes cliche and all that, but truthfully I built my character around the ideas of the man. Honorable and just but also willing to go to extremes to help his people. Seemed fitting since he was a Warrior Tank.
P.S. As you can guess I am terrible at naming characters. My WoW characters had names such as Io, then Costin.

Mine is a lot less thought-out than that. I liked the name Sereda but hate using default names (I really, really hate all the Elissa Couslands out there especially) and I hated 'Natia' so I decided Sereda Brosca sounded decent and went with that.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

For my DN, I went to a dwarf-name generator and kept going through names until I found two that seemed decent and were alliterations: Anika and Aunn. Anika, apparently, was also the name of the Paragon Aeducan's wife but I didn't know that at the time. I couldn't decide and so I went to go ask my little brother. He was busy with some online PS3 shooter game but he liked Aunn better so there you go.

I just stuck with Duran... it just seemed fitting, unlike other names. For example I can't stand the human male noble name. Aedan, what kind of name is that anyway?!
It's a historical name that ties into the name Fergus. I always liked it, reminds me of Aeda which I used in SW:Galaxies.

It seemed appropriate. And it sounds cool. ;P
My DC Templar is named Shango, after the Yoruba god of thunder and lightning. He was also used as a symbol of African resistance against European enslavement.

My canonical HN's name is Arcturus, inspired from Arcturus Mengsk from StarCraft and Saren's last name, which is Arterius. I just like to sound of it and it sounds like a roguish name. My other HN's name is Arthas, from warcraft. My elven mage's name is Alim, the default name. I like it because alim is Arabic means scientist or scholar, so I thought it was cool. My hedonist chaotic human mage's name is Salazar, because I love how the name sounds.

Sereda Aeducan is Sereda becasue IT'S PRETTY OKAY and the default name reminds me that everything has been picked out for her in life previous to the Wardens and she had NO CHOICE.

Try spelling Aedan...it just sounds silly.
Knight: Salazar is indeed awesome. If there is anything to be lauded about J.K.R. is the way she named her characters.
