It's a game at the end of the day, it's not meant to be taken seriously. Learned long ago to apreciate characters, and also kill them without any qualms. You sorta stop sympathizing with Kael'Thas in World of Warcraft after he wipes your raids over 20 times a night.

Seriously guys, its a game, its not meant to be taken seriously.

I take it seriously enough to be in doors writing fanfic when I could be doing something "constructive" on my day off like exercise and/or housework, possibly food shopping.

Human style armor with those shoulder pads don't look well on Dwarves. I really hate the fact there is very little amount of massive dwarven armor.

Agreed. I never liked the look of human massive armor on dwarves. Unfortunately, dwarf-style massive armor is limited to Legion (with stats that aren't bad, but are usually not close to replacing what you're already wearing by the time you gt it) and Blood Dragon (with a hideous texture).



Templar armor doesn't look half bad, though, since the lower robe portion covers the legs and makes your thighs not look ridiculously wide.

Improved Atmosphere adds a Black Set of really decent armor ( the one Bhelen has in my vid ). It's not that great but it's comparable at least with Commander's set.

Runic Armor I use is far better though.

Yep, I agree. I only put my dwarves in dwarf armor only. My first DN wears Legion of Dead or the noble massive armor. (I suffer in heavy armor until I get the STR I need for the massive dwarf sets.)  And I keep my Brosca in duster armor all the way. I had to sell my duster armor to Herren and buy it back from him just to upgrade it and keep the look in Awakening. I don't care about stats.

Now my second DN bought dwarven armor from that merchant that you find on your travels. It's not the best looking armor ever, but it's dwarven-made.

I keep mine in dwarven armor until Wade makes me armor out of Andraste. That is just so epic that I can forgive him for being human.

Not a fan of black armors, other than the Legion set. Just doesn't appeal to my sense of aesthetics.

Dain Aeducan looked awesome in a dragonbone Massive Dwarven armor set with the Honnleath helmet on. But I had to exchange it with the Legion armor cause it sucks statistically.

I like to think Dain reverts to the old armor when he is not at war.

There's a mod out there called the Upgrade Wand that lets you immediate upgrade all equipped armor/weapons on yourself or any NPC to a specified tier. I used it once and got Tier 7 Duster leathers before I even got to Ostagar. If you have Awakening in the OC mod, you can even go to Tier 9.

Yeah I only think Missa looks good in the game in duster leathers, tbh. My Aeducan wears leathers too, but she's more fussy about appearances and will not wear any old nonsense.

Missa was my nightmare playthrough. Once you got the tactics with potions and have a load on you it's all good.

Oh, soignee -- Lady Jess from the Alistair thread has really been enjoying her dwarf noble and has a Brosca ready to go for her next game. I didn't know this until she told me, but that when she was making her Brosca face in the toolset, she found Zev's tattoo WITH the Brosca brand in a file. So that inspired her to start out with the brand and when she is in a romance with Zevran, she will turn on the brand + crow tattoo as if he is sharing his face brand with her as well. Actually she said she'll have Zevran teach her the art of being an assassin and when she finishes the trial of the crows and expresses interest in joining, Zevran will apply the tattoo in camp. I thought that was a sweet way to rp and a fantastic way of looking at the dwarf/elf relationship. That has me wondering if Zevran would be willing to put the S brand on his own face to tie himself to the brosca, to show that it means nothing on the surface. I'm just thinking outloud here. I'm always amazed by the different ways to RP.

My Zevran would get the brand, sure. But somewhere naughty. And I always figure the crow three stripes to be like "I am owned" for Zevran, so it's pretty similar to a Brosca brand.

Does anyone else really hate the way 'Brosca' sounds? I'm wondering if they gave the DC a less pleasant sounding name than Aeducan because of the fact that they're casteless or if they just randomly picked something.
