My problem with male dwarves is that they look ridiculous without extensive fiddling without the beard but WITH the beard I'm always like 'okay, that's Trian's beard, Bhelen's beard, Harrowmont's beard, Dulin's beard...'Verly wrote...
I'm very happy with how he came out. He's my first male dwarf.

Yet another reason to upgrade my PC. My char creation eye colors are limited to brown and brown.
I know right?
It would be so convenient of the appearance mods worked with character creator

There is no fiddling, remember? picking a beard locks out your jaw/cheek/mouth sliders.
But otherwise, yes, it took a lot of fiddling around

Once Oghren joins your party during the Branka fight, he's there to stay unless you want to work your way to -100 hostile to kill him. But in the toolset, he actually asks to join you after you finish the deep roads and the warden has the option of welcoming him or telling him to get lost.
I do remember seeing a thread where someone asked why Oghren's personal quest seemed so brief (talking to Felsi) and the writer responded that it was because they considered all of Deep Roads to be Oghren's personal story. Would explain why there's so much gutting in the toolset to make it all fit. No new information that I saw. Some creative insults such as "dusty-eyed nug-sucker," but that's it.

What I meant was: without the beard it looks ridiculous or you need to spend a lot of time fixing the face. If you do get a beard then you can't change the face but there's no need to although all the beards remind me of other characters. There is no fiddling, remember? picking a beard locks out your jaw/cheek/mouth sliders.

Oh, that would have been awesome...Oghren ... is a mess in the toolset. I don't know what to make of it. I mean, he's got a lot of lines that were cut out and put aside (preserved for posterity). I guess you were supposed to be able to reject Oghren's help and Kardol was going to point out that you had someone following you like a creepy Gollum and the camera would show it was Oghren.

Is that the same one Trian has? I wouldn't want to do that because since Trian presumably grew a beard first it would look like I was just copying him.BigBad wrote...
I like the default beard on the first preset, the same one Endrin has. Vidar has Endrin's beard and cornrows, because I never use that hairstyle and wanted to try it. Almost gave him Harrowmont's beard, but changed my mind.

my Duran Aeducan... just wanted to share.
That is a mighty fine looking Dorf. Dignified, but looks like he could beat you to death with a tankard at a moments notice.

Whoa, I missed this the first time around. You got a PC version???? Wow. I thought your laptop couldn't run it or something. CONGRATS!! OH, man, look out guys -- once she figures out the toolset, she's going to be quoting things left and right! =DSarah1281 wrote...
I'll actually get to put my character up soon as my PC version came today and I am SO looking forward to having the blue eyes everyone else in the family has.

It probably won't but it should work on my family computer which will be a pain but I suppose I can deal with it.Gilsa wrote...

Naked girl dwarves!
Edit: Made a working link. Also, if you want to see restored dialog with one of my dwarf wardens, you have to look at my Alistair/Zevran restored dialogs. I didn't have a good save with a friendly Shale on a dwarf!
