So either way it ends in Loghain's death? I suppose that might actually be better than what happened to him in Awakening...Ejoslin wrote...
With Loghain/Alistair it really depends. If my character is marrying Alistair, obviously she kills Loghain herself. Otherwise, it just depends how everything goes down. I actually like both characters. I think Loghain really screwed up, but given all he gave Ferelden up to that point, especially knowing that what he did at Ostegar was not premeditated murder, I think he has the right to die to end the blight and redeem himself. Other times, though, I think Alistair should have the right to kill him for what he did.
I did have him perform the ritual once -- he seemed pretty lost at the end, though. I thought that was the absolute worst ending for both him and Alistair (who was married to Anora). I felt a bit bad for having him live.
he didnt seem lost to me at all when Xander married annora =/ and was rather cheerful during his cameo in awakenings despite his predicerment

Awakening is a whole different thing! I'm just talking post-coronation. Loghain wasn't in the one playthrough of awakeningthat I did.
Edit: Though Wynne should have been dead as well. Or at least without a head, even though the spirit was keeping her alive. I think she's the only abomination that she approves of!

I restored four Oghren/Shale banters to the game. I have the fix up on my ZDF DANexus page as a standalone file if anyone is interested -- it also restores 6 Zevran Alistair banters. I'll be updating as they make it up onto youtube which is being slower than usual today. ANYWAY, here's the first!
Naked girl dwarves!
Edit: Made a working link. Also, if you want to see restored dialog with one of my dwarf wardens, you have to look at my Alistair/Zevran restored dialogs. I didn't have a good save with a friendly Shale on a dwarf!
Here's the second one. Oghren is a bit suspicious of the hot rock!
And the third. Oghren has his own theories.
Last one. Oghren may be onto something.

I always find that so funny, how people just take the same dialogs and they feel different. I'll see if things are different when Anora is marrying the Warden as opposed to Alistair (there probably is no difference). It just struck me that he would keep on going and be a good grey warden, but he had to live with his regrets.

He is a sharp one.
*adds Shale to list of people outwitted by Oghren*
Edit: And I thank thee, from the depths of my heart.

Lost was probably a bad word to use. He's sad and regretful, but he does have direction. But his life looked so empty to me.

Or something about wondering how much territory he'd manage to claim for Ferelden before the Orlesians sent him back.Cuddlezarro wrote...

All of them taken from Heroes of Might and Magic V.
BTW, does anyone know or play that game? It's a strategy game.

Oh btw Knight, since you are Warcraft 3 fan, have you ever played the Mathias custom campaigns? Massive Battles and a epic storyline, featuring a human prince and his necromancer companion mostly.

Just might and magic. Might and Magic is an RPG series, I think one of the later ones went 3D. Heroes of Might and Magic is a tactical game. And 2 and 3 are the best ones by far.
Pfeh, Necropolis. Warlock and Inferno is how the game is meant to be played.
Never got into HoMM 5.

I thought that the original Heroes of Might and Magic was like Oblivion. Or am I wrong?
It's set in the same universe. I think there is a series called might and magic, which would be like Oblivion. The Heroes one is a strategy game.
@ Costin. No I haven't.
I used to play Warcraft back home, with very poor internet connection, so it was msotly SP and campaign.

So what are you going to do with the end game decision in ME2?
Btw....I can't tell if I am annoyed by how you write Alistair like a child who has a tantrum against Loghain, or simply respect how you wrote him in character. I sincerely just prefer him when he shuts up most of my games until the Landsmeet about it.
