I prefer the TEC. Mostly because I go by the philosophy that I like big shiny juicy guns!

Advent can and will dance in circles around the TEC though. I know that fully damned well. still Big Guns win.

 I've heard of Nexus but never played it.

It's a tactical space battle game. Following a linear campaign where you command ships from mission to mission, with only a limited number of them.

Thing is however, that you can fully customize your fleet, from having improved shields to more flak cannons and laser batteries. To commando squadrons ( which board enemy vessels ) to fighters wings.

The key is however to balance it out. Having a ship brimming with hull destroying weapons is just going to be useless, as you do need to take the shields first.
