It's actually kind of sad that Leske is better off without you. I mean, as a non-DC he gets locked up for a year but then he's free to go. As a DC he's Jarvia's boytoy for a year and then gets violently killed. Sure his year may have been marginally better if you're a DC but in the long-run...you being a Warden doesn't end well for him.

He is the only one who gets worse off by you playing the origin. In all others you seem to improve it for the others, or at least keep it constant.

Of the ones you might like that is *shakes fist at Vaughn*

It's not so bad with Vaughn. This way, he gets to be locked up and forgotten about for a year and THEN you can gut him. Robbing him is generally more successful, too.

I'm sure the same happens to Tamlen, regardless.

So, it's better for Tamlen to become a darkspawn by himself than both the DE and Tamlen?

I don't get that reasoning, especially if we consider the "I've always loved you" part. If you play DE he only has his own life on his conscience.

My scale goes DC>CEF>DN>Mage>HN>CEM>rectal surgery>DE

I cannot stand the Dalish, or anything about them. I even refused to recruit Velanna in Awakenings because she was like a Dalish Morrigan, which is just way too much annoying to put up with in one person.

my mother is Roma and the whole wandering around, lost culture thing appealed. My Mahariel is my third favourite character! He might soon be my 4th, my sexy Orlesian beast is edging up to his spot.

DN, DC, Mage, CE, HN, DE.

I don't have anything against the Dalish elf origin, it's just kind of dull in comparison. And I'm a mage nerd, thus my high placement of the Mage origin.

I had to go read up on all the lore on wiki, it wasn't as vivid and instant as the dwarf origins or the F*CK YOU SHEMLEN of the city elf.

WOO I AM AN ELF IN THE WOODS "man Tamlen, don't be a douche. Don't touch tha- oh, you touched it. GREAT."

I think that's actually the order I'd pick, too. Weird.

DN and HN first for me. Mage next. DC. Then the elves go last.

The artist based it on the DA Sigrun, yea:

A character that started off as a random dual wielding warrior female and ended up reminding me of Sigrun the Dwarf Rogue from Dragon Age: Awakening (which I have just finished playing).

She is also missing the face markings of the ingame Sigrun, so this
is an earlier Sigrun, in her youth, before she had those painted on, or
something.

Admittedly my Sigrun is a bit prettier than the ingame one, although I have to say that the Dragon Age universe features the best looking female Dwarves of any game I have played, they are actually attractive and completely break the usual 'bearded lady' stereotype.

Nice work though, I'd like to know how to use 3d programs like that.

She has a very dwarfish face though. Not sure how a thief can sneak around in an outfit like that, maybe that's why she failed?

The face I can see, add a brand and it looks kind of like Sigrun.

Edit And all the other tattoos.

You don't have a brand 'painted on'...Her tattoos could have come later but again 'painted on'?

And while there is some uncertainty about when brands are put on, they would have to be done in early childhood.

Nadezda says that the brand is burned on "at birth," so I assume it's part of the birthing, like circumcision is nowadays.

But if that's the case then Zerlinda's kid would have a brand and couldn't be accepted as part of her mining family and Mardy's kid could never be an Aeducan/Harrowmont. At least one and possibly both of those children don't have names, though, so I think it makes more sense for it to be done at the official naming ceremony.

Zerlinda's kid is still a brand.  I don't think that there is any law against keeping brands in your home (written ones that is).

Mardy's kid did not have a clear parent, and as she claimed him to be something else than a duster, no mark would be made.

If that were the case, though, why would ANY parents admit that their child was a brand?

There might be a statute of time in which the father can claim parentage. Most would be happy to do so, low birthrate and all.
