Each Cell has an operative which leads it though.

In which case, it's Shepard leading his pseudo-cell (he isn't part of Cerberus) and not TIM (though Miranda is his voice and ears).

According to EDI, Miranda is the CO of the Lazarus Cell, though obviously Shepard makes the calls as the Illusive Man orders Miranda to follow Shepard's lead.

The Lazarus project deals only with the ressurection of Shepard. Miranda's task was done.
As for as I remember, Shepard's task is not part of the Lazarus cell, but is a new cell on its own. Miranda of course is sent to make sure the Lazarus investment pays off.

http://masseffect.wi...ki/Lazarus_Cell It will say all there is to be said. EDI can confirm this in game if you ask her about Cerberus.

Huh, I don't know why I don't remember that. Still, my initial point was that Cerberus does not operate like the military and Miranda has no control over the cell at that point, so the cell doesn't obey her.

I disagree. I think Cerberus does work as the military, to a degree ( though they are more flexible ). Miranda doesn't call the shots on the Normandy because Shepard is in charge of the mission, but that doesn't mean the Cerberus crew doesn't answer to her.

There is some crew banter on the ship, where one of them has a wife and a kid on a colony and made a request to Lawson to have them transported back to Earth. So it's obvious there is a chain of command.

Or perhaps take the assault on the Quarian fleet. The Cerberus commandos had an officer they answered to, and that officer answered to Grayson, who was in charge of the mission

P.S. I am curios what will happen in Mass Effect: Retribution.

The crew answers to Shepard first and foremost, not Miranda, nor TIM (and that's what TIM wants).

The military is characterised by strong top to bottom structure that is not present in Cerberus. Cerbrerus is not a military organisation, but a para-military one. It used to be a military organisation for the Systems Alliance, but not anymore.

Obviously there is a chain of command. But it's much more flexible and "light" compared to the military.
I do not see Cerberus beign qualified as a military organisation.

I wasn't implying they don't answer to Shepard first and foremost, he is in charge of the operation after all. But what I meant is that they also answer to Miranda.

But yes, you are right in that they are para-military, or maybe not...( I still believe Cerberus is part of the Alliance, and that the whole "split:" was just a show )

Considering what kind of people are there in the ME2 forums. I would sooner crack my head open against a wall then register my game and post there.

I played the game. I can tell you what characters I liked and found lulzy, but other then that the lore/story didn't grab me as viscerally as DA has.

The Kaidan thread isn't that bad.

Edit: Though discussions about TIM is unlikely there.

The Kaidan thread isn't that bad.

The others are....especially the Tali one...Maker's Breath. If I think Alistair fangirls are bad, then Talimancers...( retarded name btw ) make me think for a second that Hitler and Stalin had some right ideas back then in their time, and I romanced Tali on my male Shepard for all my eight playthroughs...

Kaidan is a really great character, unlike say Ashley who just ****ing pissed me off in ME2..

Edit: Though discussions about TIM is unlikely there.

Of course not, ME2 forum is full of idiots who just select the paragon option without even considering the implications.

I can't even begin to say how retarded most of the FF on ME 2 is. Oh Shepard blows up Collector base, then TIM attacks Shepard and Shepard finds a way to kill TIM...wait what?

It is simply no fun. I have one psychopathic woman, one lawful stupid man and one awesome gal.

Might as well have Meer on the one I won't enjoy.

I agree on all points, especially about Talimancers. I once was in a thread where a guy was attacked because he said Talimancers all wanted the game to revolve around Tali. Which is nearly entirely true. They were basically like, "How dare you generalize us!!!1!!1!"

Alistair and Zevran fans are downright sane compared to the idiots in the ME2 forums. The biggest reason I don't read them anymore is the incessant complaining. :pinched:
