Knight: Check the Wynne Abominable thread. People like that are the reason I don't register ME2.

In short, I learned only soulless tyrants destroy the ashes but Wynne isn't dooming Ferelden if Alistair is in the party because she can bring Alistair back from the dead, annulling the Circle will not involve torture and Greagoir won't let the mages be killed but Wynne attacks you when you say you support that to save lives, and butting into your love life is necessary in case you daydream about your crush when making important decisions. So, in short. Wall of text with little to no substance?
Yeah, just google dwarf/elf name generator.a dwarf name generator? how fun.. there is probably an elven one too (only dalish..I don't think city elves would care)

My next commoner is going to be named after one of Bea's characters -- Vera Charles from "Mame." That is the one that will romance Zevran (dedicated to Missa!).

Well alright. I need to teach you the Missa armpunch. It's the only way to show affection.

A lot of people seem to fall into the false dichotomy of either liking whoever they hold up as a 'good' character or playing an evil character...KnightofPhoenix wrote...
Other than his "only "evil" characters hate Wynne" / self-rightheousness complex, I don't think he is that bad tbh. I too think hating Wynne is excessive (I mostly think hate is always excessive, except in very horrible cases), as she eventually does admit her mistakes / arrogance. But eh, I wasted too much of my time reading about Wynne as it is. DA has much more itneresting things to talk about.

Oh, I don't even know what the argument is -- just noticed that there were a bunch of 6 month old threads now appearing on the front page and saw what the common link was. To be honest, I am more amused by all the Wynne hate. I've said this before -- there is delicious irony in being judgmental about a judgmental woman.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

A lot of people apparently need all this manichean bull**** to be erased from their heads.

THere's a mod that lets you skip the fade completely. You still get all the bonus attributes and experience you'd gain for the level you are at. You just defeat Duncan and go straight to the companion nightmares and then to the final boss. I don't know how much you're playing the PC game, but it's FYI if you want to skip the fade on the PC.Sarah1281 wrote...
I suppose I don't really HATE Wynne so much as talking to her annoys me more than the Fade sequence by this point.

I fall into the "not caring" camp.It would be more interesting to have threads dedicated to Qunari or something that is still open for speculation. Dwarves still have some left to go.Gilsa wrote...

Currently, I am in the middle of recruiting Legion and still need to do Samara's loyalty quest in ME2 and then I'm going to open my new game. I'm pretty sure I'm somewhere near the end by this point though.Gilsa wrote...
