To be fair, the Couslands are a very nice family and you should go through all of the the Origins at least once. That said, I cannot stand the HN because it bores me to no end.Cypher0020 wrote...

I luvs the city elf... but every character comes out looking craptastic......
Sooo.... I think its back to the DN origin..... I could play a dude... but a chick is more fun.....I dunno.... ish confuzled..

Good news: I have a screenshot.
Bad news: I hate the PC version with every fiber of my being.
1. Woo!! Been waiting for you to share screenshots!

None of your links work. I'd be wary of Improved Atmosphere because some people say when they remove IA, all the NPCs in their previous saves now show up in their underwear instead.Costin_Razvan wrote...

Huh? Why so, your PC can't handle it?
Anyway, here are some mods for the PC.
- Wings of Velvet.- Shadow Warden.- Dragon Age: Redesigned.

Really? I never buy armor in Orzammar...do you remember who is selling it?Gilsa wrote...
Both. You start out in that armor, but you lose it after your exile. You can return to Orzammar later and buy it off a dwarf vendor.

(note: I drew this for my ladyfriends who I affectionately call my wives. These are our wardens. If this actually happened I reckon Missa would be: a) wouldn't be looking so serene

You can buy all dwarven armor from Janar Armorers (where Dagna is):Sarah1281 wrote...

1. Dwarven Massive Armor (looks like the dwarf noble armor)
2. Dwarven Heavy Armor
3. Duster Leather Armor
Depending on when you buy the armor pieces, the tier will be different, but you can always use the trick of selling it to the vendor in Warden's Keep, zoning out, zoning back in and buy it back. It will automatically be upgraded to the highest tier. (I do the same trick with Thane's Helmet.)
tmp7704 has a wonderful mod that modifies the armor colors so they're not as "gaudy" (such as red steel not looking horrible with non-red steel parts) so I would endorse using that as well.

Edit: Just to add more info -- the dalish camp vendor (the elfroot guy) will sell you a full set of dalish armor. I think you get the human equivalent in Denerim from Wade/Herren if you browse their inventory. I once went around buying matching armor and upgrading them via Warden's Keep and had everyone in my camp looking nice and spifty before I finally had Leliana sing her song. =p

@soignee -- heh, love the drawing! Any time my Brosca looks fancy, I just pretend she raided Rica's closet. That's why I gave my last Brosca purple eyeshadow. I liked to imagine that she either got into Rica's make-up OR Rica wanted to soften up her tomboy sister and made her sit still while she put eye make-up on for fun. My sister and I used to do that to each other while we were younger. I stopped borrowing her clothes when she got into her grunge phase though. Yick.
hahah despite my NEED FOR FRIPPERY AND GLITTER Missa is not a girly girl. At all. She wears what fits and until it breaks. She's not much of a girlygirl, but she is clean though and not afraid of soap like Oghren is.

Being a HN in the game is probably the most conventional. Even those who don't know you as a noble will see that you're not a mage who can't be trusted, a city elf who can't fight, a Dalish elf savage, or a dwarf that apparently wandered away from the marketplace. Not to mention the potential at the end to turn the Landsmeet into your own personal drama...Of course, the DN does the same thing when they get to Orzammar and, to a lesser extent, so does the DC but that's more due to one candidate being your brother and the other being a friend or one candidate taking care of your sister whereas at the Landsmeet you can basically stage a coup and wind up on the throne with Anora or Alistair despite your current lack of title or lands.Cypher0020 wrote...

And the fact that the giant rats are so cliched even one of the NPCs comments on it...
The tragic goodbye scene was good, though, and they certanly made us care that people we talked to for five minutes were ending up dead.
