I still don't get why he's Jarvia's boytoy in the DC origin and yet he's locked in a cell for everyone else.
The DC cramps his style.

Lady Dace
Ah you guys just don't know how to talk to her.
also
Poor poor Leske. My first DC playthrough I ended up beheading him during the fight. I was a bit disturbed by the fact everyone just kind of picked their noses after I decapitated my former best friend.

I don't get why you mercy-killing Tamlen gets a bigger part in the game than that.

Couldn't they have handled that by locking the DC up to die and then Jarvia could have proceeded to molest Leske in peace? The DC cramps his style.
How are we supposed to talk to her and does she show herself as anything but rude and incompetent? While the DN might have to identify themselves to get her to start on the ****iness, you just have to click on her as a DCF for her to assume you're a noble hunter and start in on you. Admittedly, I have no idea how she reacts to a DCM? Does she assume you're a thug or trying to pull what Zerlinda's baby daddy did?Ah you guys just don't know how to talk to her.

You could always change the story, go for a bit outside the cannon plot.
No, Leske has to die for Missa. Because then there's nothing left for her in Dust Town.
You could always take him with you.... or at least have him die in her hands.
But that's the thing, he won't, even if you offer. If you give him money and say, "Leske come with me," or "live with Rica, we can pretend you're family." Crab bucket, you see. Too frightened to step out of what he is, resents you despite himself and what you were. And Jarvia's claws are on him pretty tight, too.

Oh man, Leske betrays you good. It was all his idea, apparently, and he did it to prove his loyalty to Jarvia. He really seems happy with his life in the Carta, and happy to tap away at Jarvia's seamline. Or something.

You know, I do kind of wonder what ever happened to Leske after you let him go from the jail cell. Does he just join up with whoever reforms the Carta?
Probably. He doesn't have much else to do if he doesn't want to go to the surface.
And he has to make it up to his mistress.

What...Leske survives then takes over the Carta and uses it to join the fight against the Spawn...that's what I planned for my FF.

I'm not sure he's really happy about his life. Doesn't Jarvia say that no one actually trusts him yet and so by doing this he thinks they will and THEN he can be happy with the Carta? Or do the VO notes make it clear that he's loving his life despite what Jarvia keeps putting him through?
He's doing it to prove his loyalty, and he scorns you if you mention either his loyalty to you or even that you thought he was happy for you. He suggested the frankly crap THE HIDEOUT ENTRANCE IS IN YOUR OLD PLACE LOL plan, which I suppose you can intepret as either his stupidity or that he's hinting to you his pridicament, a little warning, perhaps, of what is coming.
It is a ratherf stupid plan, as if your DC is anything like mine she's already visited her old home and knows the score of Dust Town already. Because, you know, that's what you would do, surely?

Does Leske have any leadership potential? He seems like such a coward. Admittedly he has good reasons but I think he'd need to be prompted pretty hard to actually do something like that.Costin_Razvan wrote...

I disagree, Sten's claymore is way harder.
