I reckon he does, yeah. OH GOD YOU'VE GIVEN ME AN IDEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Sarah ilu

What...Leske survives then takes over the Carta and uses it to join the fight against the Spawn...that's what I planned for my FF.

Does Leske have any leadership potential? He seems like such a coward. Admittedly he has good reasons but I think he'd need to be prompted pretty hard to actually do something like that.

There is nothing harder then a Warden's longsword.

That came out completely wrong.

Well I lul'd.

Poor poor Leske. My first DC playthrough I ended up beheading him during the fight. I was a bit disturbed by the fact everyone just kind of picked their noses after I decapitated my former best friend.

I don't get why you mercy-killing Tamlen gets a bigger part in the game than that.

Because Tamlen is the manliest Elf to ever live?

No, he is dumb as a nail and annoyed me to no end. He just gets the fangirl squee because he tells you that he always wuwed you.

Like I said.

He's the manliest Elf that ever lived. Especially when paired up against the likes of Cammen.

What about Zevran? And remember, soignee and thus Missa will probably be listening very closely to your answer.

The manliest Dalish. There is a difference.

Edit: Shianni is way manlier than him.

I got a soft spot for Sorrel too. Actually I like the Alienage elves a lot.

Yeah, they are good elves by and large. Not like those poncy tree-huggers.

The Dalish think they know about oppression? Try talking to a city elf.

Re: toolset

For a long time, I just copied and pasted each dialogue line over one by one. The VO comments were greyed out so those I typed in by hand. But then somewhere I saw a link to Charsen's toolset tutorial and he very, very nicely explains how to be able to copy the VO comments as well. (That was a facepalm moment when I realized how simple it was.) Here is a link to his tutorial. Bookmark it and just read it when you have time.

http://charsen.wordpress.com/

And about the screenshots, just pause your game A LOT. Jump around on each companion and move the camera around -- see if there are any good angles for a screenshot. Most of the time, things will just be OK, but once in a while, you can get really lucky at just the right moment. I laughed when I saw the mabari in mid-lunge and he looked like he was chewing off my dwarf's arm. Same thing for when my dwarf was being hit by an arrow and reacting right at the moment Alistair was passing her by and it looked like he was hurting her instead. These shots are from Alistair's perspective and from the DN's perspective. Same moment, different angles. Takes forever to finish a game this way, but it's worth it!

Leske BIG BETRAYAL scene:

~~~Dunnn dun dunnnnnnnnnnnn~~~~~*~~
PC:
Leske? How could you do this?
Leske: What was I supposed to do? You were gone and Jarvia's pulling the strings. Not all of us got your opportunities.
PC: I thought you were happy for me!
Leske: Go off, be a Warden, rah-rah. I'd have shared a mug for it, sure.  But I still gotta live here. Maybe you forgot with all that sun blinding you, but there weren't too many options.(VO notes: bitter, resentful)
PC: How could you trust her after what Beraht did to us?
Leske: You messed with his plan! He lost thousands of sovereigns because of us. What else could he do?
PC to Jarvia: Who did you have to kill to make Leske turn on me?
Jarvia: Who do you think suggested going after you? Leske's been licking my feet to get back in favor ever since you crawled out from under Beraht's corpse. When he heard you were in town, he finally had a way to prove his loyalty.
PC: I don't believe you!
Jarvia: No? *Laughs* We'll see who holds the leash, here. Leske, kill him/her.
Tamlen
Alright. He's the manliest Dalish and yes, Shianni does have bigger balls then all the Dalish combined.
Zevran? Zevran is not an Elf.
This is kind of stupid though. The only difference between Elves and Humans is the pointy ears and the lack of facial hair.
I am not as good as Gilsa but I'm juggling cats with writing, trolling here and poking toolset too. :D
What do you MEAN he isn't an elf? He makes mention of being one on quite a few occasions.
And soignee, I really wanted to kill her when I heard that. I also recently learned the meanin of the word soigne. I'm guessing that's where your name came from?
I think Jarvia plays it up a little.
soignee is the feminine form, yes. Means louche elegance, fashionable but effortless about it. It's an old flapper slangword, actually. Out of use now, it needs to come back!
Zev is an Antivan . . . and a Crow.
He's not a CE or a DE. Other then those two "factions" where can you find (large) concentrations of Elves?
Being an Antivan Crow and being an elf are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they like buying elves as they feel the elves have an easier time seducing their targets as other races are inexplicably drawn to them.
this. Slavery is legal in Antiva. Missa's going to have fun with that when she gets there, obviously.
Antivan Crow is pretty much like being Ferelden Warden. It's nationality and occupation (so to speak) and has nothing to do with being an elf, nor does it prevent being one.
"faction"-wise he's probably city elf or close equivalent, depending whether they have alienages in Antiva or just have elves mingle with humans.
That is rather my point.
Other then CEs and DEs the other large groups of Elves are either slaves or Crows.
Maybe, maybe not. I've no idea if people will like the sequel or not as I've stuffed it to the gills with OCs, and fandom is funny about that.
