Btw speaking about what I plan to change after the Deep Roads thing, well the BASIS of my story was for a war between Fereldan and Orlais, with the latter using the excuse to start an Exalted because the former freed the Circle of Magi. Obviously I decided to also add the Blight part, because I want to flesh out my characters.

Obviously I will stick with most of the cannon parts, making some major changes in how characters deal with some situations ( hint: Jowan ) and add a sense of commanding an army.

Duran is the main character, and most of it will be said from his perspective, but we will also have the perspective of others, when I feel it isappropriate ( ex: City Elf and Denerim Alienage )

Did you ever get the option to tell Gorim you were in love with an elf? Because if you romance Zev before you see Gorim again, you can totally tell him that. He just says he's happy for you, but how many opportunities do you really get in the game to say THIS IS MY BOYFRIEND GUYZ.

Nonvita did. There are plenty of people willing to do drawings of characters but it often requires payment.

fandom is a strange place, costin. We feed off each other and stuff, and often exchanges are done. You know, "i'll draw you X if you write me Y," that sort of thing. Or you can pay an artist you like their time to do you art like sarah, gilsa and lady J have.

or you can be an obnoxious, overbearing **** like I am and shove missa down everyone's throats until they're brainwashed into drawing things for you.

Aye, Payroo is charging 10 dollars to draw your character. That's a
pretty good deal -- you can use it as a wallpaper or just link your
character like crazy in threads to be obnoxious.  Here's Payroo's drawing of Sten. I think she nails the essence of a character pretty well.

'Tis funny, as I plan on writing down both the romances in War of Shadows, from a woman just getting blown away by Alistair, to Natia finding another soul like hers in Zevran.

I'm not sure what the problem is with the Zev thread but the Alistair fans really don't appreciate killing him for any reason other the experience or insisting that he fails as a King.

i don't think many people read my story actually, I just have very awesome friends/people who do and are all HERE HAVE ART. I think that since I'm a frequent poster here and kind of loud in DA fandom (I poke LJ too) my obnoxious personality takes over from the story, heh. "Oh! You. The dwarf lady who likes shoes! Oh hi."

And I don't appreciate calling Anora a ****, and their wanting to be able to kill her. So the feeling is mutual there.

Regarding Zevran, I made him a rapist some time ago. Obviously Gaider said he was not, but I simply did not know that at the time, and his whole story with the mage did sound like rape to me. "Shrugs" not that I really care what he did either way. He is genuine in keeping his oath, and I respect that greatly.

That sounds familiar indeed....

Ya got me, I've been shopping for some kind of art starter kit. Dammit I AM gonna learn to do stuff. Finally found a bunch of stuff , and ordered it. But some days the Alistair thread goes soooo far off topic I skip it for the most part. Sad really, cuz it can be a great thread for sharing character ideas.
