They simply remain locked in the stalemate (not in the least because of PC's meddling if you support Harrowmont) and can't come to agreement so these votings don't solve anything. It's not like the guy you oppose has some kind of decisive advantage when you start your trip.

News of the hour! Lord Harrowmont accused of kicking brontos in the streets! Many question the intelligence of such an act!
(I believe we have a new way to entertain ourselves.)

News of the hour! Responding to new "arm length" tax suggested by Lord Harrowmont the commoners mysteriously acquire shorter arms! Accusations of underhanded tactics and rumours of Prince Bhelen's involvement ripe!

Hey, taxes are serious business. People go through way more loops than that to dodge them...BigBad wrote...

I didn't notice either until it was pointed out but wow they're huge. I guess those that can't stop staring at them really have problems completing dwarf games.Herr Uhl wrote...

I meant that I didn't notice that they were shorter now. They looked pretty normal on the female in the middle.Sarah1281 wrote...

Those arms seem disproportionate to me in relation with body shape, mass, and model design. They just look stubby, and have the side-effect of making the dwarf look fat instead of stout.
So you'd rather female dwarvs kept the arms that reach their knees instead of stopping at the upper thigh, as if they were spawned with apes. If you think that is "correct" I shudder to think about your taste in women...

I did ok in massive armor on my DNF but my Broscal in light armor is killing me.

I mean they're ridiculously long

Correct arm proportions...

I imagine that bigbad's taste in women is of the "death by SNU SNU" variety. (jk)

I still don't understand people who insist on making fantasy races proportionally identical to humans. They're not human. They don't have the same proportions. Dwarves are shorter, with denser muscle tissue, rounded jawbones, and longer arms. Elves are shorter than humans, tend toward the slender, have sharp cheekbones, and have pointed ears. Complaining about it is like complaining that a bulldog doesn't look like a wolf or a fox. It's not supposed to.
The proportionally longer arms on dwarves are, in fact, correct. Correct for dwarves. Which are not human and are deliberately designed to be visually distinct from humans, instead of being regular short people.
I fully expect to hear people complaining that dwarves are too short at some point.
