Doesn't the 'DA Redesigned' mod thing improve look of these dwarves? Looks it's being updated at the nexus site at the moment so i can't check...Sarah1281 wrote...

It does. I was going to link to the images, but the author had turned them off unfortunately. The revision of Mardy is one of the most stunning dwarves I've seen and I found myself wishing that it was available as a preset, too. The only dwarf revision I have a tough time with is Rica. Some really do make Rica a lot prettier because the lore talks about Rica's beauty, but at the same time, Rica is such a integral character that it's like changing Bhelen and Trian from their original models. Just hard to accept. Noble hunters, big deal.tmp7704 wrote...

Rica should look like she does. I think that she looks maternal in the vanilla game, so that it's believable that she was kind of a substitute mother to the DC. Dwarves are probably more to the old version of good-looking with childbearing hips etc too.

Aye, something gets lost in the translation with a Rica morph, I agree.
Someone who looks like a mother would be the most beautiful in a society with a low birth rate.
Like how being pale and fat were major turnons a couple of hundred years ago among the aristocracy.

Doesn't the Rica morph change her hair color? It's highly unnecessary.Gilsa wrote...

So sorely disappointed ;_; Anyone else freak out when they see a dwarf topic on the boards other than this one?

@skcm -- I used to feel like that about every thread that slightly mentioned dwarves until this one took a life of its own. Ahhh.

ORZAMMAR LIVES FOREVER
Under Bhelen, you mean....under Harrowmont, i'm not so sure....
There was an interesting point that had got brought up in the Alistair thread. The Alistair and Zevran threads could very well come to an end if the game moves on without them and introduces different romances in the future.
The next game most certainly will not contain Alistair or Zevran romance. Ah the nerd rage that will be on these forums once they realize that ( idiots for thinking it might continue, this isn't Mass Effect )

Harrowmont w/out the Anvil is only around for awhile. He'd need a decent successor which will, sooner or later, probably end up being Bhelen's son which might be enough.Under Bhelen, you mean....under Harrowmont, i'm not so sure....
And remember: DA2 is supposed to be outside of Ferelden, right? That means we'll probably get to see Kal-Sharok.

The real question however is . . . will it be your PC in the next game or a new PC?Costin_Razvan wrote...

I would hate a continuation because then you just know that they are going to ruin your life...again. And there will be no explanation for why you have to save the world again when you're busy as Queen/chancellor/Teyrna/whatever. But if it's not a continuation I hope they don't make you mysteriously disappear a la Revan.thegreateski wrote...

I am personally hoping that it will take place at the same time as DAO, but in a different place.
