The Dwarf Noble gets his revenge.
The Dwarf Commoner helps his family become royalty.
In the end it all comes down to opinion and . . . well . . . opinions are really annoying.

He's the DN's nephew, too. In fact, if the set the next game in the future, he's probably the best bet for Orzammar's new King all things considered.I personally think DC cuz well... you have the attachment to Rica, and baby Endrin is family....
Rica is royalty even without playing DC if you pick Bhelen or if you end up taking the throne after Harrowmont as a DN (which could happen!).The Dwarf Commoner helps his family become royalty.
For me, the DN Origin wasn't so much about vengeance but about being sheltered her whole life and then really having her eyes opened to the world so that by the time she came back she couldn't just be the conniving noble anymore and she wanted to be able to do something about it. As Paragon/head of House Aeducan/future Queen, I think she'll be able to. Just make sure to convince the warriors/nobles killing off the casteless by throwing them at darkspawn to reclaim territory is in their best interest first.
The fact that I can't stand playing Orzammar as other origins (particularly the DC because I keep forgetting which dwarf I'm playing) because I know that that means that the DN died means that I'm definitely going to have to say that Origin hit me harder.

I'm saying that he simply helps them become royalty. Not that he's the cause of it.Sarah1281 wrote...

he was also a rogue and did the dark ritual with Morrigan.
and is my favorite character thus far, he also had enough str to ware the juggernaught set, i had planned that for him from the beggining.
he was setup using 2 nice axes with 3 enchantment runs in each, cant remember their names.
he has really decent res and armour, a rogue tank!

Now what's good warrior stats? strength/dex or stren/cons or dex/cons?
I wanted my DC to be a simple sword/shield user..... and to hit the hardest wear the coolest armor...

9: 31 Dragon, Summer.
It had been almost a month since the Archdemon had been destroyed. One month since the armies Humans, Dwarves, Mages and Werewolves had fought an impossible battle and won. The cost had been great, with many tens of thousands dying in the process, but the Blight had been defeated.
Many had thought the battles would be over, who wouldn't after all? The civil war was finished, the darkspawn defeated. Duran knew however that such thoughts were far from reality. The darkspawn horde had been destroyed, it merely fled back into the Deep, eventually a new Archdemon would rise and the cycle would continue.
He had called for an assembly of armies, to be led in the deep roads to wipe out the Darkspawn, once and for all. The werewolves had answered readily, the Lady of the Forest knowing fully well the darkness that lurked beneath the earth and her followers having little purpose now that they had gotten their revenge.
The mages and templars also came in great numbers. Many of them thankful for Duran's assistance in this Circle Tower, and for the autonomy the Circle was given after the Blight was over.
Convincing the nobles of Fereldan however had been a fight all on its own. Many of them not even fully know or caring about the hidden threat, but with Anora's and Loghain's political support he had managed to get a vote in the Landsmeet for a grand army.
As he walked down the commons in Orzammar he could feel many eyes upon him. The nobles looked upon him with disdain for ignoring many tradition, but Bhelen had a tight leash on the Assembly, and the Golems that answered to both him and Duran helped keep them in line.
The commoners on the other hand, had different looks. The warriors especially looked on him with respects for the great aid he had given Orzammar. It would be a long road to defeat the darkspawn, but for the first time in a millennium the darkspawn were being pushed back.
He knew he should feel proud of what he had done, but instead he could only feel guilty for all the lives that had been lost. A total of ten wardens had fought to stop the Blight after Ostagar, and three of them were dead. Riordan and the mage: Solona Amell, had died during the battle of Denerim and Alistair had been killed by Duran himself in a fit of rage after the boy wanted to betray the order.
As a general and commander he had failed those closest to him, and he would never forgive himself.
An expert from my fan fiction.

Just me out of everyone here, I think. Sarah writes awesome political stuff, not sure about the rest. I write my Brosca being a murderous little shrew with the morals of a tom cat. Ah, good tiems...

Hmm, do I break the randomer's mind with the kink meme on LJ.... nah, you can find it yourself. I would add I am mild compared to that level of smut. Blimey, made even me baulk! Fandom is a strange, beautiful place.
