Why don't you askkkkk me, hmm?

Reviewed Sarah.

I like Angélique as well but since there's no real reason to just have three people following them for a great deal of the time the dialogue has to be split up so that everyone gets at least a few lines and more characters make things take longer.

I wanted to have the Leliana confrontation before she actually mentions being a bard because why shoule Marjolaine care if she's told the party about her past before sending people afterwards? Plus, this way it can all get out of the way at once. Well, besides the after-Marjolaine conversation that will need to happen at some point.

I'm trying to give Alistair lines since, you know, he's the other Warden but there are six of them so sometimes it doesn't always work out. I'm glad you think I'm keeping him in character. I want them to actually be friends when the Landsmeet rolls around so she'll actually give a damn about the whole 'ultimate betrayal' thing.

Writing the Gorim scene is going to make me Posted Image I just know it. Plus I keep changing my mind about him. Part of the dialouge makes me agree with Gilsa's take on it that he'll always love you but he can't be with you but other parts...I know the conversation is awkward but when you say that you'll never find a better man than him (which isn't an unreasonable thing to say when you just find out you're being dumped and you don't want to be) he says "Perhaps it is better for me to wish you the best and let you continue your business in the city" and is clearly trying to get rid of you.

And then if you don't specifically choose the romance options in the dialogue he'll tell you that he's found his heart on the Surface which is really NOT the thing to tell the girl you're breaking up with at that very moment no matter how much you might love her. It's selfish, I know, but I don't want to think that he falls madly in love with his wife while he's supposed to be waiting in Denerim. I know it's not practical and getting married was probably what he needed to do to survive but does he have to make it sound like he's in love, too? It's not like I want him to be unhappy and I'm fine with him slowly falling for her but already? When he could have only been married for a very short time? Not cool, Gorim.

And then when he says that he was 'honored' by the time you spent together...honored? Really? That merchant in the origin was honored I took his dagger. How does that make it sound like he cared about her and wasn't just, as Herr always puts it, brown nosing? 'You will always be in my heart' isn't much better, honestly, as that just makes it sound like he'll always care about her. Well you know who will always be in my character's heart? Shale. Does that mean she's ever loved her? No. An 'I will always love you but...' would have been better, imo. So I really have no idea how that's going to go.

As for the pacing...I'm really not sure there's anything I can do about that. Sorry. Posted Image

Friggin fanfic nerds.

*pats head*

I know you read about Missa being mostly naked, don't lie to me.

I at least don't write fanfiction. Even though mine would be craptacular indeed.

Yes, it does suck away my freetime. It's pathetic how I spend my free time now. It's divided into: writing DDW (or trying to), the gym and attempting to be social. Note: the latter is LOLZY.

At least it's better then how I spend mine.

I pick up sticks . . . . . well more branches then sticks but you get the idea.

How can you complain that people spend too much time writing fanfics when you read fanfics yourself?

Point: It is a fanfic. You read that thus you read fanfic.

What? Yes I read them, I was objecting to you insinuating that I think that writing fanfics is a waste of time. I don't complain about it either.

*points at Soignee*

It is her that complains about it taking too much time.

Edit: I just say that reading fanfics is a fraction less nerdy than writing them. Me being a bigger nerd than the both of you put together in all other ways means that it more than evens out.

It's either write, watch TV or play a videogame, when I am not attempting to be social (lol dating LOLLLL) and/or at the gym.

I am aware I am a loser, Herr. It's okay, I'm a big gurl. it's My Fault ™ for living in the middle of nowhere. *wistfully thinks about moving back to London*

Ah, see when you said 'I don't' I took it to mean that you were saying that you don't read fanfics.

And soignee, besides 'ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff-' what's your take on the Gorim reunion? I can't seem to decide.

For my canon Aeducan it's all OH GOOD FOR YOU GORIM HERE'S MY HUMAN.

For my other Aeducan I played for the srsbzns nightmare mode and did the Gorim romance I imagined her getting steely, cold and distant the taking her anger out on something,

I meant: how do you think a romanced Gorim reacts to seeing LA again? I can't quite tell if he's completely moved on and is feeling awkward, still loves her but is married, is trying to get rid of her...
