Is he the one that gets together with Alistair? I've never read that story as there are too many HN-Alistair romances as it is.

Okay, that sounds really ominous.



There's really only two updating Aeducan fics on ff.net. One of them has the DN give up Orzammar to go off and have Alistair's baby. The other isn't very far but appears to be setting it up for the DN to give up Orzammar to live on the surface with Gorim. Why don't any fics have her going back?

Haven't read the Gorim one, and have you not found Littleblackdog's stuff? S/he is on ff.net, very heavy on the Alistair/Aeducan. It's very sugary in places, and one of her stories is her being Warden Commander and heading back to Orzammar with her wardens. It is blatant fanservice in the sense of the smut, and i'm curious how they will deal with Orzammar.

I've read a little of it. The thought of Bhelen branding the DN casteless...well, let's just say it's moving me further towards Team Harrowmont. Of course, I'm liable to change my mind in a week or so because they both have such compelling reasons to go for/against them. Much more so then with the other Origins and their 'nice guy or strong guy' or the even more clear-cut DC choice. If only Harrowmont could pretend not to think the casteless should never have been born for two seconds it might have been more of a dilemma...

yes, and he's always the option the "lawfully good"  non dwarf types pick because of his persona.

Except he didn't fail by marrying the first surface girl he saw? I rather like that interpretation. It does explain why he wouldn't stop talking about how great Endrin was even if you weren't a DN and why he wanted to help Endrin's non-evil non-dead child so much.

Since the writers didn't plan on having Gorim as a romantic interest, what alternative excuse would have worked for you instead of Gorim being conveniently married off? I probably would have felt bad about moving on to any of the romantic interests if Gorim was all by his lonesome in Denerim.

Oh, btw, at this point, I will be really pissed off if they make Oghren, of all dwarves, THE dwarven romantic interest in an expansion. Considering what happened with him and Felsi, this guy is not relationship material.

Gorim being injured could explain why he had to stay in Denerim and then it could be a ME LI situation. You either move onto any of the other three available to you or you don't and at the end when you're both actually noble you could have a chance. It would really only be a line or so of dialogue at the end and doesn't leave you wondering whatever happened to the wife and unborn child since Denerim was destroyed and he doesn't mention they're also returning with him.

At this point, I would rather romance Leliana and she's unwittingly racist against dwarves! Besides, unless he ever decided to claim his seat as Lord Branka, it would never fly in Orzammar.

Oghren ****ed me off. He's a rope gatherer- he's in this hole, you throw him lines ot help him out and  bastard stays in his hole. >:|

My Missa has no time for him. Especially after how he treated Felsi, who in my mind she gave 100 sovereigns to as someone has to look after his kid if he won't >:\\
