It is simply a virus that kills anything mutated, or even slightly irradiated. Read up on how the enclave made it and you wil not really feel comfertable with where this true hope for the world came from. The Purifier cleans the water, and with it life will come back like said in the closing slides of FO3.

Killing things already infected will not solve the problem. Killing the radiation will.

Don't rightly care what the Enclave did, it won't impact my belief about the virus. I know already they go into extremes, didn't need a confirmation for that.



The purifier cleanses the water, but that water does NOT clean the radiation in a human's body, the earth etc. The FEV water does kill off any irradiated form of life, leaving space for those forms that are not irradiated.



Basically a big Reset button for the ecosystem. Humans can simply just not drink the water, the virus is not airborne or anything and you won't get in your bloodstream if you stay in the rain.



Better yet, humans would be hard pressed to develop an actual way of removing any trace of radiation in a human's body, it certainly is possible.
