Also, I was looking through the codex entries and apparently the dwarves follow the Chantry calendar. I know that probably makes things less confusing but...why would they do that? They have little contact with the Chantry and the Surface so why would they adopt that system?

I suspect this isn't the case actually, it's just Codex entries are translated/converted from own language of the dwarves into something the player can understand, dates et al.

What type of armor is that? From a mod I assume?

Yes, modded dwarf massive armor that looks like it's make out of rocks. Makes me look like a mini golem.

www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php

Btw, anyone else frustrated with the lack of good dwarven massive armor in this game?

Blood Dragon and Legion sets being the exception ofc.

Thanks. I had some issues getting the files to the DAupdater but I finally got it to work and it shows up as an active download on the main menu.

Just to let you know: the armor is located in Anvil of the Void, in the room where you fight those rotating stone faces.

In case you're wondering where to find it.

Makes sense since you get no loot for that section of the Void. Thanks again.

So you boys and girls don't like Spartans, huh? Shame!

I suppose that makes sense. It's strange however that there is so little actual history of the dwarves, pre-dating the First Blight. I would assume the Shaperate records would have a lot more on that account but sadly no.

When you look at it closely it is indeed nice, but you look at it from the forum home page it sorta looks ugly.

Your ability to both compliment and insult me at the same time continues to amaze me. Can you at least try to keep in mind that I had to take the picture with a camera phone on my television?

Was merely making an observation. You Americans are really way to easily offended, it is a wonder the USA and UK are even allied, let alone best of allies.

Sparta sorta failed to rule Athens...sure they conquered, but conquering means nil if you can't rule/

I'm not sure what politics or diplomacy has to do with anything. I just don't like it when people say negative things about me and you do so quite often.

They managed to defeat Athens at its zenith though. Sure they didn't wipe it out as a major power, but it's still significant.

Only Macedon managed to conquer and rule all City-States.

Indeed so, but Macedon was only so successful because Epaminondas had crushed the greatest power in Greece: Sparta.

It is a shame really, Thebes had so much potential, but it was squandered by the fools who ruled it, and in the end Athens emerged as a power once again and we all know how that ended.

It would have been interesting to see Alexander and Phillip deal with Sparta at it's zenith. Certainly the Macedonians would have won, but at a very heavy cost.

I am blunt, I will give you that.

The term moss licker sprang to my mind when you mentioned mosscake.
