So what? Do you find him in Denerim still? He obviously wouldn't be injured but is he married so he has to leave his wife behind? That might make him a little more reluctant to go although if he's just working as a merchant for lack of anything better to do while waiting for you to show up (I don't think you two decided where to even meet up) then he could just quit and leave..Costin_Razvan wrote...
...and that is why I plan for Gorim to join Duran in my ff. **** that **** really.

It is my belief that he got wounded protecting his future wife from bandits and by doing he ended up with a wounded leg.

I suppose that could explain how he managed to get connected to a Surface family so quickly: they felt grateful and guilty. Would she have been on her way back to Denerim from Orzammar, maybe selling/buying things there?Costin_Razvan wrote...
It's going to be next chapter ( otherwise I wouldn't have stated it now ). He is going to meet him on the Road to Ostagar. While Gorim does leave one week after Duran, it is far faster to travel on the surface then in the Deep.

And...I made another magazine article. Trying to find a color that would show up with everything was such a pain. I officially hate Endrin's armor for that. At least it's still readable.

If 10 silver is enough for a meal (and you can have the option to give 10 silver to pay for one at a few points in the game) then why would a magazine cost more? In fact, that's probably a little pricey...Herr Uhl wrote...

Go ahead, I do not mind at all. I am just shocked someone would actually use one of my screenshots. I thought there were would be hundreds of similar screenshots out there already.

Corra from Tapsters did and everyone seemed upset once he was dead although the latter might just be because he couldn't remind them of how unpleasant he was since he was dead.Caak7i wrote...
Did any dwarf except Endrin actually like Trian? I think how the origin was setup, you were supposed to kill him.
You know the quest where you can betray Bhelen to Harrowmont after turning Houses Dace and Helmi against Harrowmont? If you killed Trian you find papers in Jarvia's hideout saying Bhelen had mercenaries sent after you but if you were framed then you find papers ordering Trian's death. If you don't play a DN but do that quest you get the 'DN is innocent' papers which makes that the default although they probably chose that because that makes 'Bhelen tried to kill someone legally responsible for Trian's death.'

That pretty much killed what I thought of earlier. Still, with both your little brother who appears to be closer to you and your pal Gorim encouraging you to kill Trian, I would think the DN would at least take a moment to think about it. Not an easy choice either way.

There's always the 'I'll keep an eye on him' option which makes it clear that you won't balk at killing him but makes it so Trian is already dead when you show up. I think that option covers a few scenarios: not convinced by Bhelen's rumor, don't want to let more people than necessary know you want to kill Trian, one day is too short notice to have a fool-proof plan...Caak7i wrote...

Trian is easier to convince, I would think, because if Trian dies then you're automatically the heir and you're popular enough that you could very well replace him anyway. If you say that without a doubt you're going to kill Trian then Bhelen instructs the mercenaries to just attack you to further your belief that Trian is out to get you by stealing Trian's ring and giving it to the mercenaries who he fully expects to die at your hand. Just the same, should you change your mind he has the scout to force your hand by refusing to let you surrender. Should you be killed by the mercenaries, though, Trian would be a likely suspect, the mercenaries can go kill Trian later (they may have been instructed to deal with you first), or Bhelen could have him otherwise assassinated although it wouldn't be as perfect a situation as what happened.
If you say that you won't kill him, won't hear Bhelen out, or otherwise imply that you're not going to make the first move then even if Trian attacks you then you may surrender or you may talk him down and had you had the common sense to kill that stupid scout it may have worked. However unlikely that was it was still a possibility so what he does is order the mercenaries to kill Trian and his men. You are, of course, a more skilled fighter than Trian so when you come across those same mercenaries you are able to kill them and take back Train's ring which points to your guilt. But even had you fallen to the mercs then Bhelen would still be the only prince left and the default heir.
